1.0.3current · October 25, 2026
Fixed
  • Agora tools (PHP, .NET, Godot, Chromium…) no longer trip over dbus on a clean install: the system bus now ships in Hefesto's Ubuntu base, and if a package is left half-configured the installer reconfigures and retries on its own.
  • When reporting a problem you can leave your email to get a reply.
  • If your network won't let you download the big tools (Gradle, Node, Kotlin…), you can import the official file downloaded another way: the card installs it and the store recognizes it.
1.0.2October 25, 2026
Fixed
  • The terminal starts again on phones with the old WebView — it used to stay blank: it now works on Android 8 and later, and if something fails the reason shows right on screen.
1.0.1October 24, 2026
Fixed
  • Custom OpenAI-compatible providers connect again: the "Base URL" field is now always visible, in the "Server" section next to your key — no developer mode needed. Zhipu GLM, OpenRouter or your own server work again.
1.0October 24, 2026
New
  • Hefesto 1.0 is here: the first stable version. You ask in your own words and the agent builds web pages, Android apps and Godot 4 games: it writes, runs, fixes and compiles — the APK comes straight out of your phone.
  • Inside there is a workshop: Ubuntu with a tabbed terminal, apt, Python, Node, Go, Rust and PHP. The Ágora installs tools in one tap (Godot, Blender, interpreters) and the agent uses them when needed.
  • The agent your way: Antigravity and OpenCode with your account, or Hefesto's agent with your key (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, OpenRouter), or a local model on the phone. Review, Plan and Auto: you decide how much leash.
  • The agent looks and fixes: it sees the preview and the game, and repairs whatever fails. Git and GitHub are built in: cloning, branches, pull requests and publishing your site to Pages.
  • Built for everyday life: a free-material library with a 3D viewer, fourteen languages, the look you like, backups every few days — and lots of quality-of-life improvements in every corner of the app.
Fixed
  • The preview shows the whole device, centred and with its proportions: iPhone, Samsung and the rest appear complete at their resolution, and the desktop still fills the width.
  • The preview's zoom button switches the device to its real size (100%) so you can look closely; drag with your finger to move, and tap again to go back to the full view.
  • Agent, mode and model share the width equally, with the same height and shape; the agent name scrolls inside its own button, like the model name, without moving the row.
  • The what's-new sheet shown after updating no longer says “no notes” when the version only brings fixes: it shows them too.
Fixed
  • The project's .gitignore no longer shows up as an unsaved change: it is only written when the project is created or imported.
  • The installation says which agent is being installed, once and only on its own card; no more “Installation ready” on an agent you never installed.
  • When you uninstall an agent you stay on its card, which switches to “Not installed”, with a notice of what happened; if it was the one you were using, it says the chat goes back to Hefesto (API).
  • The chat goes back to Hefesto (API).
  • The preview now uses the full width: the chosen desktop looks like a desktop, with no huge margins and no black band when scrolling.
New
  • The factory orange is now a calmer terracotta: the same forge colour, without buttons and bubbles weighing so much. At night it stays light so it reads well.
  • Long-pressing a file opens the same bottom sheet as a project, with its name, size and date, and everything you can do with it, grouped.
Fixed
  • The preview no longer leaves an unpainted strip when you change resolution: the page is drawn again in full and the frame keeps its bottom corner.
  • The Help screen is shorter: only what you need to report a problem or see how to install.
New
  • The «Hefesto» card in Appearance truly returns to the factory look: orange, original canvas and shapes. There's no remove-theme button; you just tap that card.
  • «Reset appearance» leaves exactly the factory look: orange accent, original type, bubbles, bars and background, and the «Hefesto» card marked. Before, it brought back blue.
  • The card that warns you to set up the provider is now a Hefesto card, with its icon, a short title and the arrow; before it was a brown notice with a triangle.
  • Holding a project opens a sheet from the bottom, always in the same place, with the type, the name, how many files it has and the date, and the options in groups.
  • «Hefesto local» carries the «Experimental» label: it works, but it isn't yet up to the other agents.
Fixed
  • Going back to the project list no longer slides sideways: it's a short fade and the screen doesn't shake.
  • The Terminal no longer shows «groups: cannot find name for group ID…»: that's noise from the phone's system, not an error.
  • In Backups, «Save backup» and «Load backup» each sit in their own full-width row; before, «Load backup» broke across several lines. And with a single project it reads «1 project», not «1 projects».
  • When you share Hefesto, the text says what it does: it creates apps, websites and games. Before, it only mentioned games.
  • The version now shows only the number: the letter of in-between builds isn't shown on the main screen or in About.
Fixed
  • The images in a message now sit in a row and share the width: two go side by side and a single one takes its space, with no half-empty message. Tap to see it full size.
  • The model's reasoning no longer leaks as a message: when it arrives as loose text (in English and with “I need to”, “The user”…), it goes to the “Thought” row instead of taking up the answer.
  • The per-minute request limit no longer shows up as an exhausted quota: Hefesto waits the seconds the provider asks for and carries on by itself, with no error card.
  • A paid model on a free account (Gemini 4 Argon, for example) now says what happens: there is no access to it, the quota was not used up.
  • If the model asks for a tool that does not exist, Hefesto answers with the real list and gives it another chance, instead of leaving the JSON in the chat.
New
  • With your Google key, Gemma 4 31B and 26B now show up in the model list: before, anything not starting with «gemini» was hidden, and that made a whole family disappear that works as an agent and is free.
  • The list still leaves out models that do not chat: no Veo, Nano Banana, Imagen, Lyria, TTS, image, video, voice or embeddings.
  • OpenRouter models that do not support tools are no longer hidden: they show up, and when you ask them for work Hefesto requests it as text, like it does with local models. The picker warns «No tools» before you choose one.
Fixed
  • The short prompt's example asked to write a `nota.txt` file and small models copied it when greeting. Now the example does not touch files, a greeting is answered in words, paths are always relative to the project and the model does not answer just «OK».
  • Hefesto local shows the models already on the phone again: the list was filled before the folder existed and stayed at «0 models» even when the model was downloaded and in use.
  • With the keyboard open, the agent panel no longer gets stuck at the top: the keyboard closes and the list comes up from the bottom again.
New
  • Hefesto local respects the model's window. Before, with a small model and 512 or 1024 context, the app still sent the instructions and the turn's notes (about 3,500 tokens): the server answered that it did not fit and the chat took it for a damaged conversation.
  • With a short window, the prompt shrinks to the minimum (who it is, the project, the rules and its tools), the notes are trimmed without touching your request and the history is dropped by whole turns: the request fits and the model answers.
  • If it still did not fit, the notice gives the exact figures (how many tokens are needed and how much window there is) and what to do: raise the context in Advanced or pick a model with a bigger window.
Fixed
  • The minimum context is now 1024: with 512 not even the shortest prompt fitted. When you change it in Advanced, the server restarts with the new window (before it kept the old one).
  • Models with a short window ask for tools as text, without the API schemas, which ate the window.
  • The «damaged conversation» notice no longer appears when the problem is that the request does not fit.
New
  • Application: creating one starts a real Android project —Kotlin, Gradle, manifest, theme, icon and a screen that responds—, ready to build with the Ágora toolchain.
  • App health, in the hammer's Workshop: flags in red what stops the build or launch (Gradle project and plugin, namespace, launcher activity and its «exported», the activity class, manifest resources, Compose without its plugin), with «Fix with the agent» and the revisar_app tool for the agent.
  • Model catalogue: one card per model, with size, memory and context in equal columns, the verdict in words, the licence as a tag and a full-width button.
  • Model downloads no longer stop when you collapse the catalogue or leave the section: the bar shows outside the cards and, if you close the app halfway, on return it offers «Continue» from where it was.
Fixed
  • Long names of downloaded models are no longer cut mid-word: you see the short name and the file shortened in the middle.
  • The chat examples in an Application talk about its Android project, not an app invented from scratch.
New
  • Web page: when creating it you choose its type —simple, business or portfolio, catalog, blog, web app or web game— and it is born with real structure: several pages, css/estilos.css with dark mode, js, sample images, menu, footer and text in your language.
  • Site health: a check that reads the site without a browser and flags in red links and resources pointing to missing files or phone paths, and pages without viewport, title, language or charset, or with images without alt; as warnings, http resources, heavy files and total weight. The agent has revisar_web.
  • Site workshop, in Files: checks health, publishes to GitHub Pages (or tells you to connect GitHub), saves or shares the ZIP with files at the root for any host, and shows the published address with its QR to open it on another phone.
  • Fix with the agent from site health, as in the game: red items go to the chat with the check's context.
  • The agent receives the project's web type and rules for a site published as is: relative paths, viewport, image alt text and light files.
Fixed
  • When changing a project to Web page with no pages, its index.html is created: before it stayed an empty web project.
  • Empty-chat examples on a site depend on its type; they are not always the same two.
New
  • Plan: the agent's actions are grouped under the task that produced them (“Task 3 · 5 actions”), the task in progress has a pulsing ring, an older proposed plan is dimmed as “Previous plan”, and when you ask for another plan the model receives the existing one so it doesn't start from scratch.
  • Review: the permission card shows the whole new file, the changed fragment of an edit, or warns that a file will be deleted; with an external agent the “How should I run it?” dialog says changes are reviewed all together at the end of the turn.
  • Antigravity's internal tools (noting tasks, notifying, consulting its memory) appear in words, not as function names.
  • Read aloud: the system voice starts when the chat opens and the button shows “preparing” until it actually sounds, instead of switching to “speaking” while the speaker is still silent.
Fixed
  • Links inside a plan task no longer appear with brackets and parentheses: just the text.
  • The changes bar (Keep / Undo) hides while the agent is working: mid-turn it offered to undo changes that were still in progress.
  • The forge sounds are removed (Settings → Appearance → Sounds): the finish, permission and failure notices are visual only again.
  • Buy a coffee: “What your coffee does” tells only what is certain; and several phrases in the app lose a regional filler.
New
  • A real Plan mode: the agent explores, asks only what’s essential with tappable options and delivers the plan as a task list. Each task can be edited or removed, you can add others or request changes, and when proceeding you choose whether it runs reviewing each change or in Auto; when done, your previous mode comes back.
  • Tasks get crossed off as the agent works, with the current one highlighted and a progress bar; if something was left halfway, “Continue” picks up only what’s missing. The plan is saved in the project and stays there when you switch chats or close the app.
  • The agent can ask you with options (up to four, or you type another answer) when there’s a decision it shouldn’t make alone; while it waits, the time doesn’t count as work.
  • Review: on the permission card, “Also accept the rest of this turn” lets whatever is left through without asking again. Auto: irreversible actions (deleting whole folders, git push, rewriting history, shutting down the environment…) still ask for permission and say why.
  • The model name in the chat’s quick access scrolls slowly when it doesn’t fit, instead of being cut off.
New
  • One hand across the whole app: buttons, chips, switches, sliders and checkboxes carry Hefesto's shape, type and colours end to end; two- and three-option selectors are now a single segmented piece (the Theme one with sun, moon and auto).
  • Native notices: short messages (copied, saved, moved, errors) are no longer Android's grey rectangle; they appear at the bottom in the app's style and, when moving or deleting files, carry an Undo button.
Fixed
  • Lighter chat: each message's formatting is computed once (it used to repeat on every redraw and while the agent was typing), and the “Forging” strip breathes without redrawing the screen.
  • Lists that don't jump: the Engines, Cloud and Workshop logs, the file viewers, the gallery and the model picker keep their position when they update.
  • Security: the preview and the terminal no longer let a page read the app's files, and the Library doesn't load unencrypted content inside secure pages.
  • Equal cells: the model filters and the local engine's context and thread settings are equal cells, not chips that ran off the screen.
New
  • Official website: Hefesto has its own site, in Spanish and English, with what it does, the full Ágora, how to install and verify the APK, the version history, help and the legal texts. It is generated from the same sources as the app, so it never tells a different story.
  • Settings → About and Settings → Help link to the website; “Share Hefesto” now sends the website address.
Fixed
  • The steps to install when Android requires a verified developer were over-summarised; they are now the six Android actually asks for, in the same order.
0.7.6.aOctober 18, 2026
New
  • Legal, inside the app: Settings → Legal brings together Privacy (what is stored, when something leaves and where to, what each permission is for), the License of use and short Terms, each with its version and date, in all fourteen languages. The First entry links both texts before continuing.
  • Real third-party licenses: the list of libraries is written by the build itself with their exact version, and PRoot, glibc, xterm.js, the fonts and the Agora logos carry their full license and the link to their source code, with a search box.
  • Before Android asks for the microphone, Hefesto explains what it uses it for (dictation only, no recording). Project → Information → "Credits for this project" shows the CREDITOS.md the Library writes with each item.
  • Settings → Help → “Install and update” explains how each version arrives and what to do if Android requires a verified developer.
Fixed
  • Removing a background asks for confirmation, like resetting the appearance.
0.7.5.eOctober 18, 2026
New
  • Appearance, complete: a greeting on the home screen (by time of day or a phrase of yours), project cards with details or simple, a cover per project (a colour or an image, from its menu), a theme per project applied when you open it, the “Forging” work screen (sober, forge with embers or still) and forge sounds when it finishes, asks for permission or fails.
  • Language: a list with a search box and the flag of all fourteen, each with its own name and the name in your language. The Themes card has Save, Import, Export and Delete in equal cells, and resetting the appearance asks for confirmation.
  • Attach → “Take a photo”: the phone's camera without leaving the app, and the photo goes into the message like any image. The interface size is now Compact by default (whoever chose another keeps it).
  • The nine pieces of the second Agora batch (Bun, Java 21 and Maven, .NET, Kotlin, Tesseract with more languages, Hugo, MkDocs, yt-dlp and Inkscape) now have their own seal, each with its glyph and colour.
Fixed
  • Settings remembers the section: when you come back from Agents or GitHub with “back” you land in Connections again, not on the front page. With an image or video background behind the chat, the buttons under the bubble (copy, share, read, regenerate) sit on a glass pill and can be read over any background.
  • The short what's-new sheet closes when you tap “See all” instead of staying underneath; the Preview bar no longer peeks between the Files buttons when switching tabs; the terminal no longer shows black behind the bar while loading; the project “Information” card counts the same as Files shows (without .agent, .git or the bin); the “Export” button in Themes no longer hangs loose with a gap below; and “Share” next to Ko-fi no longer breaks into two lines.
0.7.5.dOctober 18, 2026
New
  • Hefesto speaks twelve languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Hindi, Indonesian, Turkish and Arabic, with every phrase in the app translated by hand. With Arabic the whole interface reads right to left. Choose it in Settings → Language or let it follow the phone.
0.7.5.cOctober 17, 2026
New
  • The app's languages now live in one file per language, inside the app; English is complete sentence by sentence and each new language is added without touching the code. On the cover and in Settings, languages appear with their flag and their name in their own language.
  • The image, GIF or video background just for chats is also in Settings → Chat → “Chat background”, next to the pattern; before it could only be found in Appearance → Backgrounds.
0.7.5.bOctober 17, 2026
New
  • Backgrounds your way: an image, a GIF or a video behind the whole app or just the chat, with adjustable veil and blur; the app's colours can be taken from the background if you like. Moving backgrounds stop when the app is not in front, with light mode or with low battery.
  • Seven new bundled fonts: Lora (bookish), Comfortaa (rounded), Patrick Hand (marker pen), Caveat (pencil), Dancing Script (fountain pen), Special Elite (typewriter) and Orbitron (robot). They can be chosen for the whole app, for titles and for the chat, each showing its own “Aa”.
  • Named themes: five house ones (Forge, Charcoal, Paper, Ocean and Neon) and yours, saved from whatever you have on; they export and import as a file to carry them to another phone.
  • Bubbles (shape, opacity and colour of your messages), bars (invisible, glass or solid), the agent's name and avatar in the chat, vibration on touch, and automatic theme: dark at night and saving on low battery. All gathered in Settings → Appearance, in blocks.
  • Agora, second batch: Bun, Java 21 with Maven, .NET SDK 8, the Kotlin compiler, more languages for Tesseract (Portuguese, French, Italian, German and Chinese), Hugo, MkDocs, yt-dlp and headless Inkscape. Each with its card and examples.
0.7.5.aOctober 17, 2026
New
  • What's new, remade: each version is a sheet with its big number, the new and the fixed in two blocks with their seal, each entry with its title and text, and a filter All · New · Fixed. It opens from the main screen menu and from Settings → About.
  • The first entry (language, look, Linux) is new: a cover with the logo, marked steps, the Linux install with the molten-metal bar and a screen explaining Review · Plan · Auto before entering. It can be seen again in Settings → Help → “See the first entry”, without touching anything you already have.
  • Project memory: the agent keeps in MEMORIA.md, inside the project folder, what is worth remembering (how it builds, decisions, what failed) and reads it at the start of every turn. You see and edit it from the project menu, and can clear it whenever you want.
0.7.4.aOctober 17, 2026
New
  • Hefesto has a new logo: the blacksmith rests on his anvil with the hammer in his hands, a single light silhouette on dark iron. You see it on the phone icon, the home screen, Settings → About and in notifications.
  • New house icons: the Ágora becomes an amphora, the market vessel; and the Workshop, the Library and the rest follow the same forge family.
  • Before every request to the model, Hefesto checks the network and the battery. Offline it does not fire requests that will fail: it waits up to three minutes with the status in view and continues only when the connection is back. Below 5 % without a charger it stops and tells you, instead of draining the phone. Local models never wait.
  • Better dictation in the chat: while you speak a row shows the volume and what it is understanding; the text lands in the box capitalised at the start and after a full stop, with a full stop when you pause for long. It tries to recognise offline first and, if the phone cannot, online.
  • Tell us about a problem (Settings → Help) is now a full-screen sheet in Hefesto's style: what happened in a big box, what you expected and how to repeat it folded away, the card of what gets attached, and Copy · Share · Email discreetly below.
  • Settings → Performance → “Work and battery”: how much Hefesto worked today and in the last seven days, by kind (agent, builds, downloads…), recorded task by task only on your phone, with a button to clear it. Right there, the option to keep the screen on while the agent answers, as already happened while building.
Fixed
  • The pieces bundled in the app (Chromium, Godot, Blender…) show in Ágora even if the signed catalogue Diego published predates them; before, they could only be found by searching.
  • Pieces go by their real name: “Chromium”, not “Agent's eyes”; what they do goes below, in the subtitle.
  • In Ágora, with the front page scrolled, the search button did nothing: now it scrolls to the top and opens the keyboard.
  • A piece whose release date had passed went back to “Coming soon” on every start until the app talked to the server; the catalogue's signing date now serves as reference. And a withdrawn piece never shows as upcoming.
  • Coming back to the chat, the keyboard opened by itself if the box had focus when you left; now the box lets go of focus when you leave and the keyboard waits until you tap it.
0.7.2.cOctober 16, 2026
New
  • Eyes, part two: what the agent looks at shows up in the chat. The “Looked at the page” card shows the screenshot it took with Chromium and “Looked at an image” shows the image; tap it to enlarge.
  • Catalogue patches: Diego can fix the text, the install script, the probe or the size of a piece bundled in the app (Chromium, Godot, Blender…) from the signed catalogue, without waiting for a new app.
  • The green news dot of the Agora also in Engines; the Agora footer says which key signed the catalogue; and an announced piece does not show its size.
Fixed
  • The agent did not always know it had the Eyes (Chromium): if you had not opened the Agora since launching the app, the list of installed pieces reached it empty and it went looking for browsers or setting up servers. Now it is told every time, with the exact command, on its own line.
  • With OpenCode, looking at a page spun up servers and ended up hung for eleven minutes on a pkill that killed itself. Now the agent knows a local HTML file needs no server, must never use pkill -f, and the screenshot it takes by command also shows large in the chat card.
0.7.1.fOctober 16, 2026
New
  • An announced piece no longer gives too much away: until it is available, its page shows the art, the tagline, what it is for and when it arrives, but not the scenes, the examples, what it touches on your phone, what will be installed, the site or the licence. Under the name it says “announced”.
  • A note from Diego on the pages: a box with the author’s comment about that piece, delivered through the catalogue without a new app.
  • Ágora: the check-again button fetches the catalogue right away (the automatic check stays every ten minutes, also when opening the app); the fan starts on a different card each time; on the cards the text sits on the left and the scene on the right, never overlapping; and announced, withdrawn or testing pieces say so in rows and cells too, with “View” instead of “Install”.
  • The Ágora catalogue looks after itself: it is checked when entering Ágora (at most every ten minutes) and when opening the app, and what arrives shows right away. A green dot on the Ágora icon flags new pieces; if the app is not in view, a notification.
  • Catalogue pieces can now have their own seal and poster, be announced as “Coming soon” (with a countdown if dated, on the server’s clock and not the phone’s), arrive in testing only to testers, be withdrawn without leaving anyone stranded, require a minimum Hefesto and offer “Update” when they change. At the bottom of Ágora, “What arrived”.
  • Ruby, Deno, pandoc, Apktool, FluidSynth, OpenSCAD, PostgreSQL, Redis and Caddy shared their group’s seal; now each has its own.
  • Whole pieces through the catalogue: a new Ágora tool (its card, its install and its removal) can arrive signed by Diego without waiting for a new app. It shows, installs and uninstalls like any other; its card says “Arrived through the signed catalogue”.
  • Godot exports on the phone again: Godot 4.7 crashed on every start (“double free”) while regenerating its documentation cache. Hefesto ships it ready-made (3 MB) and Godot just loads it: importing and exporting to Android, web, Linux or Windows takes a minute less per start and no longer crashes.
  • Signed catalogue: Ágora can receive the catalogue (sheets, piece of the week, featured) straight from Diego, without waiting for a new app. Only what carries his signature gets in; the check cannot be turned off. It looks once a day when Ágora opens; offline, the last saved one.
  • Ágora's front page is a fan: the piece of the week in the centre and the featured ones peeking at the sides. It opens on entry, advances by itself, swipes both ways, and tapping a side card brings it to the centre.
  • The working card counts the wait from the model's last signal (reasoning included) and says “Reasoning… (N min)” while the model thinks in plain view; it used to flag in red a model that had been reasoning for minutes.
  • Warnings (Game health, results with warnings, tight local models) use a deep ochre in the light theme instead of the loud yellow, which belonged to the dark theme.
Fixed
  • With OpenCode, the deliberation some models send as text showed as a reply for a while and then folded. Now it is recognised by how it starts, by its fillers (“Hmm”, “Wait”, “A ver”, “Espera”…) in any language, and because it arrives in English when Hefesto is in Spanish.
  • The Workshop no longer insists three times when Godot crashes both importing and exporting in the same pass (five wasted minutes): it says so right away. And Android's linker warning no longer counts as an error in the log.
  • A bubble with just “The” before “Thinking…” and a blank gap under “Thought for…”: the first chunk of reasoning is held before publishing and the chat list is rebuilt also when a bubble is withdrawn.
  • In a Godot game the agent no longer hunts for export templates on disk or writes export_presets.cfg by hand: it is told plainly that the Workshop has everything. And with a project.godot at the root the platform hint no longer says “unspecified”.
0.7.0.aOctober 16, 2026
New
  • Living Ágora: the front page is a deck of cards. On top, the piece of the week Diego picks, with his line; behind it, the featured ones. The top card turns by itself every few seconds (it flips like a page), you swipe forward or back, and tapping opens the sheet.
  • Shelves that change with you: “For your project” (by the kind of the open project), “Because you have…” (pieces that build on the ones you installed), “New in Ágora” and “The lightest”. The other shelves rotate a little each day and cascade in.
  • Ágora opens instantly: it remembers which pieces were installed last time and shows that right away while re-checking in the background, off the UI thread; and the poster background patterns are drawn once, not on every scroll.
0.6.9.dOctober 15, 2026
New
  • Agent's eyes, a new piece in Ágora: a headless Chromium with which the agent opens the website it just built (a URL or an HTML file), takes a screenshot, looks at it itself, reads the console errors and sees whether anything overflows the phone's width. The ver_pagina tool for Hefesto's own agent and the hefesto_pagina command for OpenCode and the rest. Needs the Web piece.
  • The project bar is always compact and the project type is an icon to the left of the name instead of a line below: nothing changes height while you read.
Fixed
  • While reading the chat, the bar shrank as the list moved and it felt as if scrolling stuttered for an instant.
  • A half-transparent ghost of the Preview (its button bar and the page) showed over the messages in the Chat tab: the web view draws on its own surface that ignores clipping, and it is now truly hidden when you leave the tab.
  • The Terminal no longer shows the “WARNING: linker: …” lines from the Android loader at startup: they are not an error and the rest of the chat already filtered them.
  • If the model provider answers 502, 503 or 529 (overloaded) right away, it is retried once before the turn is given up as failed.
0.6.9.cOctober 15, 2026
New
  • The agent's reasoning collapses by tapping anywhere on the expanded text or on “Collapse” at the end, and the “Thought for…” row comes back into view when closed; the duration now always shows its number.
  • The mode selector (Review · Plan · Auto) opens centred as a Hefesto sheet, and in Settings options with four or more values go in equal-width cells.
Fixed
  • With OpenCode, the summary of a terminal command was cut at 120 characters (“lego.png, l”), the scroll-down button covered the progress bar while the agent worked, and models that think in plain text mixed reasoning with the answer.
0.6.9.bOctober 15, 2026
New
  • Settings › Appearance: besides the accent, you now choose the canvas (the app's base): workshop paper, neutral, cool, sage, rose, sand or your own. The colour panel is new: a live sample, accent and canvas chips, and a colour wheel with a hex code.
  • Settings › Chat (new area): bubble font and size, chat background (plain, grid or gradient) and long-turn alerts: when a task longer than N minutes finishes, the phone vibrates and a notification arrives even with the chat in front of you.
  • The chat compose box floats over the conversation, with a shadow and air on the sides; the chat scrolls underneath with a fade. While the agent works there is a single button: “Stop” when nothing is typed and “Send when done” (clock) as soon as you type.
  • When reading down the chat, the project bar and tabs shrink a little; scrolling up brings them back. They never disappear.
  • In Files, the gallery remembers your search, the filter and how far you had scrolled when you come back from another tab.
  • When duplicating a project, the list scrolls to the copy and highlights it for a moment.
Fixed
  • The what's-new screen no longer shows on first install or late over the main screen: only after an update, as a brief sheet with the highlights and “See all”.
  • Turns are no longer cut by an app timer: a Blender task or a build can last an hour or more and the agent stays connected until it finishes.
  • 3D models looked too dark or had black faces: material colours are now converted properly for the screen, there is fill light and back faces are lit like front ones.
  • The entry cascades of Settings, Projects and Agents animate once per session, not every time you come back.
  • The Ko-fi coffee steam now rises from the rim of the cup and climbs higher, fading in instead of popping.
0.6.9.aOctober 15, 2026
New
  • Nine new pieces in Ágora: Ruby, Deno, pandoc (documents) and Apktool under Programming; FluidSynth (MIDI to audio) and OpenSCAD (3D parts by code) under Media; PostgreSQL, Redis and Caddy under Data. Each with its card, examples and a hint for the agent.
Fixed
  • With recent OpenCode, the agent's text only showed at the end of the turn (or not at all): the new server streams the reply in small chunks and Hefesto did not read them. Now the text appears as it is written, like with the other engines.
0.6.8.cOctober 15, 2026
New
  • The agent knows the whole Ágora catalogue, not just what's installed: if you ask what tools exist or what's missing, it answers with the real pieces and points you to Ágora instead of suggesting things Hefesto doesn't have.
Fixed
  • With OpenCode, when the agent used tools and then answered, the final answer wasn't shown (the chat went silent and seemed to “cut off”): the server's event channel didn't carry the text and Hefesto skipped the full reply if anything had already arrived through events. Now it always reads it; if the model still ends without words, it is asked once to wrap up, and otherwise a notice with the ↻ button is shown.
  • The Preview briefly showed leftovers of the previous screen (duplicated buttons, everything looking frozen) when opening or loading a page for the first time. Now a veil covers the web view until the page paints.
0.6.8.bOctober 15, 2026
New
  • In Ágora, an installed piece shows an “Installed” label (or “Built in” if it came with Linux) instead of an “Open” button that only opened its page.
  • While the agent works in Auto, the working strip in the chat uses the same orange as the mode chip.
  • If an agent tries to install an Ágora piece (Python, Node, FFmpeg, Go…) with apt, Linux stops it and points it to the Ágora bridge; in the Terminal it only warns, and the app's own installs go through as always. The agent also gets a short usage hint for each installed piece.
Fixed
  • The Ágora piece card no longer offers “Continue” when the agent saw the piece was installed and finished its work: it only shows if the agent was left without it. And the message it sends is “carry on with what you were doing”, which Auto no longer treats as a new task: before, the agent would invent a test file.
  • The bridge's “falta” script showed in the chat as a raw command with a temporary path; now it reads “Asked for an Ágora piece · Lua (lua)”.
0.6.8.aOctober 15, 2026
New
  • Bridge between the agent and Ágora: if the agent lacks a tool (Python, Node, FFmpeg, Blender, Godot…), a card appears in the chat with the Ágora piece that provides it. In Auto it installs by itself from Ágora while the agent waits (with Cancel); in Review and Plan the card asks, and when it is ready “Continue” appears. The agent can also request it with the “falta” script and knows which Ágora pieces are installed.
  • On a piece's page, the examples under “What you can ask the agent” are tappable: the request is left written in the open project's chat, ready to send.
  • The Auto mode chip is soft orange: a reminder that in automatic mode the agent does whatever it sees fit, deleting files included, without asking.
New
  • In Ágora, “Install” from a row or a poster installs directly when there is nothing to ask (and queues if another download is running); if confirmation is needed, requirements are missing or there is no space, it opens the page. Tapping the pediment in the header goes back to the top of the Showcase.
Fixed
  • Ágora left an empty gap between the header and the tabs: the ember glow measured 200 dp even though it was invisible. And the search box opened on its own with the keyboard when entering or returning to the Showcase after using the magnifier once.
  • In Ágora's rows the name is short (“Godot” instead of “Godot (the agent's game studio)”), on the shelves the small line only carries the size, and the header tagline no longer gets cut.
New
  • Ágora, restructured: three tabs (Showcase, Shelves and Your workshop) under the forge header; the piece of the week and a mosaic of featured pieces; “Workshop basics” and “Master pieces”; and each shelf with its own presentation: wide cards where the art leads, seals resting on a drawn shelf, or a compact list. Within each shelf, what is not installed still comes first.
  • Each tool's page is now the page of a piece: an art band with the seal mounted on it, tagline, tags, the action with its progress, “How it is used” (scenes with the real look of the chat that open full screen and play), what to ask the agent, what it touches on your phone, what is good to have first, what gets installed, the project site and its licence.
  • Ágora's seals have their own finish (plain, split, wedge, ring, brushed) so two neighbours never look alike, and tools that are not a brand carry a glyph drawn for them in the forge's language instead of a catalogue icon.
  • What is shown of each piece (tagline, examples, scene, front-page order, origin and licence) now lives in one file per piece, the same format Ágora community will use.
New
  • OpenCode's task-list cards say “Noted its tasks” (and how many are done) instead of “todowrite”; and in web projects the agent is told that an HTML page is seen in the View tab, not with “mostrar” (it was showing four lines of code in the chat).
Fixed
  • With OpenCode's warm server, the reasoning of models like big-pickle came out as the answer: English bubbles ending in “</think>”, bubbles with only that tag and the real answer glued behind it. Now it is folded into “Thought for…”, with its real duration, and the bubble carries only the answer, as the usual path already did.
  • If the agent showed in the chat a file it had already shown in an earlier turn, the card moved to the end of the new turn: the old one lost it and the new one was left without its time footer. Now it is only reused within the same turn.
  • If OpenCode reports an error after the model had already started answering, the turn says so; before, it ended silently with the last card as the ending. And in Plan and Review the change review runs anyway even if the engine fails midway.
Fixed
  • OpenCode got stuck on “Reading…” or “Editing…” forever: before touching a file outside its working folder it asks for permission, Hefesto's server started in /root (so the whole project was “outside”) and nobody answered. Now the server works in the project folder, like the usual path, and any remaining permission questions are answered on the spot: yes in Auto and Review (Review still reviews at the end), no in Plan, which touches nothing.
  • OpenCode no longer takes a git “snapshot” of the project before and after every step (Hefesto did not use it and on the phone it cost seconds per turn). OpenCode conversations older than this version start over once; the chat is kept.
Fixed
  • OpenCode: the answer was already on screen and the working strip kept going as if still waiting. The turn now closes as soon as OpenCode reports the session idle (over its event channel), without depending on the server closing the request; and if the answer arrived whole at the end, without live streaming, the turn is no longer repeated along the slow path.
  • Stop with OpenCode's warm server also stops the server side: before, the model kept working on its own in the background.
Fixed
  • OpenCode with a hand-picked model came back with “400 … Expected object | null” and did not answer: OpenCode's server wants the model as an object (provider and model separately) and Hefesto sent it as a single line. It now goes the way it asks.
  • If OpenCode's server rejects a message before the model says anything, the turn continues the usual way (opencode run) instead of stopping in error: Hefesto's “Waiting for the model…” notice no longer counts as if the model had spoken. And if it still fails, the error is said in plain words; the detail stays in the log.
New
  • Hefesto changes its base: the Linux inside the app goes from Alpine to Ubuntu 24.04. It ships inside the APK, so it installs without downloading anything, and programs are installed with apt (Debian's and Ubuntu's), which is what the external agents, Node, Godot, Blender and almost anything the agent wants to fetch expect.
  • Agora on Ubuntu: official Node 22, Python with pip and venv, Go, Rust, PHP 8.3, Blender 4.0, Tesseract, Ubuntu's Java 17 as a third way to compile, and Git and SSH already included. Each sheet explains apt's error in plain words if something fails (no connection, no space, package that changed its name).
  • Anyone coming from a previous version sees “Hefesto changes its base” when opening the app: projects, models, the agents' signed-in sessions and the terminal settings are kept; the Agora tools and the agents are installed again from Agora.
Fixed
  • The glibc compatibility layer, the apk patch and the package bridge that Alpine needed are gone: fewer pieces that could fail when installing Antigravity, Godot or Node. GitHub Copilot, which did not start on Alpine, can be tried again.
New
  • Terminal: the key row starts with “Paste”, Tab and the arrows; what cancels or deletes (Esc, Del) goes at the end and ^C stays fixed on the right, set apart and with its own vibration. Below it there is a little room before the keyboard.
  • Terminal: when you select text (long press), Copy · All · To chat · ✕ appear in the key row instead of over the text. “All” selects only what was written, without the empty space below.
  • Terminal: programs that ask to open the browser (gemini, gh auth login, agy, npm run dev --open) really open it on the phone while the terminal is open; before, the address was lost. And Gemini CLI no longer falls back to the “paste the code” flow, which looped forever.
Fixed
  • Linux: node, npm and npx (and any Alpine program written in C++) failed with “Error relocating … symbol not found” as soon as Antigravity or Godot was installed: the Debian libstdc++ that ships with glibc shadowed Alpine's. Now each world looks for its own first, with nothing to reinstall.
  • Terminal: when the prompt comes back, the modes left behind by a program that died badly (mouse, bracketed paste, application keys) are switched off: they were the characters “I didn't type” when touching the screen or pasting.
  • Terminal: less flicker when opening and when the keyboard appears: the screen is measured once per gesture and fades in once it is ready. What the keyboard pastes directly (the clipboard chip) is handled, and if it arrives in another form it is noted in the log.
New
  • Antigravity heals itself: if the program updates on its own and stops starting on the phone, Hefesto notices before the turn, restores the compatible version (without downloading it again when it keeps the copy) and carries on; the Google session is untouched. If it still fails, the chat says so clearly with a “Reinstall Antigravity” button, and the agent card has “Program” with the version and “Reinstall (keeps the session)”.
  • The agent’s links to project files ([index.html](file:///projects/…), relative paths) can be tapped and open: images and 3D models in their viewer, the rest in Files. An underscore inside a word (my_final_file) no longer turns on italics.
  • The cards for Hefesto’s scripts say what the agent did (“Showed a file in the chat”, “Searched the Library”, “Signed the APK”, “Built with the Workshop”) instead of a truncated /bin/sh /tmp/hefesto-build-… command.
Fixed
  • Antigravity: a turn that already answered no longer ends in a red card with “Retry” because the program reports a notice when closing (daily quota, “retry in 13m”); the notice stays as a grey note with the detail. And the exhausted model is named once (the identifier and the name used to appear stuck together).
  • Chat: while the agent writes, the list follows the foot of the text (not the head of the message) and stops following as soon as you drag it; it follows again when you reach the bottom, with the ↓ button or when you send. The jump button only shows when you move the list a stretch yourself, it is translucent and goes away by itself after three seconds.
  • The chat box no longer brings back the message you just sent: the previous box can no longer write into it, a cursor-only change does not rewrite the text, and the pieces the keyboard returns in the seconds after sending are discarded (it is noted in the log).
  • OpenCode: the server that starts in the background is no longer killed and relaunched on every turn (two processes were left and neither in time); it is waited for up to two minutes with a notice, the fast path also works in Review and Plan, and every decision is noted in the log.
  • Startup: the project list is drawn as soon as it is read (the review of interrupted work comes after) and the log records the startup times so it can be tuned.
New
  • Keep or undo what the agent does: above the chat box you see “N files changed” with Keep and Undo all; expanded, each file has its own undo arrow and “View changes” (before and after). What you undo can be redone until you send another message, and every message of yours has “Restore the project to this point”. What terminal commands change is shown, but not undone.
  • A trash bin per project: what you delete from Files no longer disappears: it goes to the trash (Files ⋮ menu → Trash), where you get it back, delete it for good or empty it. It empties itself after 30 days (7, 30 or never, in Settings → Backups), and right there you can see how much it takes up. The trash is not uploaded to GitHub.
  • One background under the whole app: the gradient and the grain are painted once, beneath every screen, and the top bars are transparent. Screens come and go with a short fade and the launch logo no longer peeks through when switching screens.
Fixed
  • The projects screen no longer “shakes”: the measuring progress line does not push the list, the order is recomputed per batch rather than per single measurement, each project is walked once (it was three times) and the open one is not measured again on return if nothing changed. The coffee steam only repaints its own patch and the card cascade waits for the transition to finish.
  • Settings opens lighter: each card's status line is worked out when you open it (not on every redraw), and moving from the cover to each area uses the same duration as the rest of the app. Version-in-testing notices are gone from Settings.
New
  • The agent knows how to introduce itself: ask what Hefesto is, who made it or how to support it and it answers with the real facts (Diego Ortiz, free, code on GitHub, Ko-fi only if you ask) without making things up. And it no longer talks about video games to people who are not making one: the Godot notes only go into a Game project.
  • The welcome of each version fades in (it no longer pops up abruptly), without the “Report a problem” button or the “still in testing” reminder: reporting is still in Settings → Help and diagnostics.
  • The app is 13 MB lighter: the camera and body-tracking libraries, no longer used, left the install, and with them the camera and vibration permissions.
Fixed
  • Antigravity: if the sign-in test dies because the quota is used up (429), the session counts as signed in and the card explains the quota and when it renews, instead of saying “Sign in required” with the raw error.
  • Chat left dead with “HTTP 400 error”: a tool call with truncated arguments (the model stopped halfway through writing a file) poisoned the conversation. It is now repaired when the history is cleaned and, if the provider still refuses, the bubble says so clearly and offers “New chat”.
  • Workshop: the intermediate APKs Godot leaves in /tmp when exporting (tens of MB each time) are swept before and after every export.
New
  • 3D viewer: it plays the face shapes (morphs) of the characters that have them, as part of the animation.
  • Your material is protected: Library downloads and attachments are not deleted or overwritten by the agent without your permission card, not even in Auto mode (including rm or git clean commands that touch them).
  • GitHub → Checkpoints → “Find missing files”: what was in the latest checkpoints and is no longer in the project (a file deleted by mistake) is brought back, without undoing anything else.
Fixed
  • Library favourites that got wiped: tapping the star from the viewer without visiting the Library saved only that favourite. Now the list is read before touching it and written without leaving the file half done.
  • API keys that vanished: if the phone's secure store failed at start, any settings save deleted the encrypted key. What could not be read is no longer deleted (only “Delete key”), the key is never regenerated over it and there is a backup copy on this phone.
  • Chats, history, index, project profile and download log are written in two steps (temporary file and replace) with a previous copy: the app dying halfway no longer leaves the file empty, and damaged files are set aside instead of ignored.
Fixed
  • 3D viewer: the animation runs at real speed even with a heavy character (a big character used to play in slow motion): the pose is now computed by the GPU and the clock advances by the time that really passed.
New
  • Welcome screen: when a new version opens, what is new in a few cards, with access to all the release notes. It can be seen again from Settings.
  • More models open in the 3D viewer: .gltf with a folder (like Sketchfab's, now requested as .glb) and .vrm (VRoid).
Fixed
  • Silent closes: if Android kills the app (memory, native crash, freeze), on reopening it is noted in the crash log with the area it was in (the 3D viewer, for example).
Fixed
  • 3D viewer: auto-rotate starts off (its button turns it on) and the pause button is a real pause icon, not an X that was confused with “Close”.
New
  • 3D viewer with animation: animated characters (.glb/.gltf with a skeleton) really move, with timeline, pause, speed and loop; .bvh files show as a bone figure on a floor.
Fixed
  • Microphone: it no longer “goes crazy” when you stop and dictate again quickly: each listening is a session and whatever arrives late from the previous one is ignored; stopping delivers right away the last thing heard; if the recognizer does not start or is busy it retries once; and two quick taps count as one.
New
  • Preview always at hand in Web and Game projects: the “Preview” tab is there even when there is nothing to show yet; in a game it opens the web export (web/index.html) by itself as soon as it exists and, if there is none, tells you how to get it from the Workshop. The Library still opens there.
  • Workshop: when the APK is ready it shows the app icon (in the result and in “Last time”); an export stopped by Game Health says “Not exported: N red items” instead of “Failed”.
  • Chat: the working bubble summarises scripts embedded in a command (“Python script (12 lines)”); a used-up Hefesto (API) quota names the model that ran out; code inside bold text is rendered as code.
Fixed
  • The chat box no longer loses or repeats text: what you typed stays even if the chat finishes loading later or Android recreates the screen; the sent message no longer reappears in the box (keyboard or microphone, no time limit); an empty dictation no longer erases what you typed by hand.
  • Microphone: typing by hand turns dictation off (the next result used to overwrite what you typed) and, after 8 seconds of silence, it switches off by itself.
New
  • Healthy clones: the cause of “Damaged repository” right after cloning was found (the links the phone's Linux leaves when the folder is renamed) and it is fixed from three sides: git no longer creates them, Hefesto points them again when promoting, renaming, moving or trashing, and “Repair” fixes them in seconds without downloading anything. Diagnosis with the real fsck code, the actual packs, the broken links and “Share” as a file.
  • Workshop: up to three attempts when Godot crashes while exporting (“Attempt 2 of 3”), the step changes right away (“Exporting”, “Signing”), “Errors only” recognises Godot crashes and Game health warns about scripts no scene uses and about the mobile renderer (on Android rendering_method.mobile rules).
  • Agents: they know the parts of Hefesto (Ágora, Library, Linux, Workshop, Preview) and write files with their tools instead of cat and /tmp; for a game they are reminded it runs on this phone and with fingers.
Fixed
  • Git: with a damaged repository it no longer says “All saved” or “No commits yet” (it says “Not read”); branches are read even if a reference points to a lost commit, and “missing object” is explained in plain words.
  • Chat: a running tool takes precedence over “Writing…”; grep or diff with no matches no longer show in red (“No matches”); exporting without an APK counts as a failure for the agent, not as ✓; the “replied without carrying out the task” notice no longer claims nothing was done and does not fire when the agent exported the game; the automatic material carousel does not show unrelated repositories; the project branch in the list no longer trims the size.
New
  • Material by the agent: searching and installing material from the chat works the same either way (ids stay valid for the whole conversation), Poly Pizza delivers the direct download and filters animated models with the “Animated” tag, KayKit downloads only the models (.glb) instead of the whole repository, and long searches that find nothing are retried with their keywords. The chat carousel appears when the turn ends (or right away in Plan and Review), not on every search.
  • Agents: “Plans and limits” on each page (where the provider upgrades its plan, in the browser; Hefesto charges nothing); a used-up quota is explained in plain words with the phone's day and time; Antigravity's usage limit shows a name and “renews” in your time; signing in says “Connecting to Google…”, “Signed in as…” and signing out says it is working on it.
  • Git: a branches panel with each one's date, the ones on the phone and the ones only on GitHub (tapping one fetches it), “Refresh” to ask for the new list, and the repository's branch list before cloning. “Diagnostics” gathers what git sees of the repository (HEAD, packs, free space, fsck) so you can copy it; “Repair” also cleans empty or damaged packs and re-places the branch if its commit was lost; after cloning, git is checked to read what was downloaded before opening it.
  • Lighter terminal: it draws with WebGL when the phone can (otherwise as before), without cursor blinking and with the history poured back in chunks when you return. 3D viewer: each part of the model with its own texture (skin, clothes, shoes) and, from Files, the viewer sits inside the screen with “Reading the model…” instead of a dialog that sometimes came out grey.
Fixed
  • The whole app shrinks with the keyboard: it no longer covers the GitHub strip nor the fields in Settings, Agents or dialogs. A short tap in the chat clears the text selection (before, you had to copy for it to go away). OpenCode: the provider's retries show in the bubble (“OpenCode is retrying (attempt 3)…”) and, if it goes more than 90 s without an answer, it says so; the session error OpenCode sends is the one shown.
  • Kenney no longer mixes 3D kits or audio when searching sprites; “1 file” in the singular; Maintenance does not say “Up to date” with a damaged repository; git writes with fsync so an abrupt shutdown does not leave empty files in .git.
New
  • GitHub strip under the chat box: the repository and the branch as chips (the repository one opens a panel with “Open on GitHub”, “Git and GitHub”, “In the cloud” and “Propose changes to main”; the branch one, the branches panel), what is pending in amber (“+12 −3 · 4 files”) and “Push” when only commits are left to push. It folds away with the keyboard and does not exist if the project does not use Git.
  • Git: a “Damaged repository” card with “Repair” (stale locks, index, commit-graph and, if needed, fetching the objects again from GitHub) when git answers with “fatal:” or “error:”, and a “Maintenance” card with “Optimise” in plain sight: the cleanup git used to run on its own in the background —and that got cut when the app closed— no longer runs by itself on the phone. “Sync” fetches only the branch you follow, without tags.
  • “In the cloud” offers “Propose changes to main” (pull request) when you work on another branch; long Git operations (sync, push, switch branch, repair) show “Cancel” after fifteen seconds.
Fixed
  • Git's “fatal:” and “error:” lines no longer show up as changed files; a clone leaves the commit-graphs clean, checks the branch tip before placing the files and, if nothing is missing, the repository stops being partial (git no longer goes online for objects). If the Git status cannot be read, it says so with “Retry” and “Repair” instead of leaving the spinner going; the branches panel explains the error instead of “no branches”.
New
  • Preview: when the server fails, the tab states the reason once and in plain words (“The Python module “flask” is missing”, “The port is already in use”, “The program “node” is not installed”) with the command that fixes it, ready to copy or hand to the terminal; while it starts you see its last lines instead of a blank frame. “Run command” suggests what the project needs (python3 main.py in a Python one) and the picker shows the file name on its own line with the folder underneath.
  • Terminal by touch: dragging scrolls line by line with a push when you let go, a long press selects the word and dragging from there stretches the selection; a small bar with Copy, All and To chat appears over the selection. The npm shortcuts show up only where there is a package.json; with requirements.txt or main.py you get the Python ones.
  • Large files: in read-only mode they open in a line-by-line viewer that does not freeze the app (also when you tap their path in the terminal), with a search that jumps to the match and per-line colours; “Edit” still opens the usual field. The editor draws the line numbers in one go and stops colouring above 250 KB.
Fixed
  • Files no longer flashes “has no files yet” while it reads the disk (a spinner shows instead) and a tab's cross only asks when there are unsaved changes. A folder tapped in the terminal takes you to that folder.
  • In a game or an app the Preview tab goes away once it has nothing left (before, once visited, it stayed forever) and changing the project type closes the right tab. Paste and copy in the terminal clear the selection highlight.
New
  • The chat says what is really going on: “Running command”, “Reading main.gd”, “Searching for assets”… while a tool works, and “Waiting for the model's reply…” with the last action when it is the model's turn to think; if it stays silent for more than a minute, it says so. Command groups are called “Ran 4 commands · 1 failed” and each card shows the full command on two lines.
  • Chat links are tappable: “[text](address)” and bare addresses open (in the GitHub app if installed). Code blocks wrap long lines so they can be read whole on the phone, with a button to see them on a single line.
  • Searching for assets from the chat understands “sprites”, “sounds”, “textures”, “models”… even if the model words it differently; if a source did not answer, the result says so (“Could not reach Kenney; no connection”) instead of a bare “found nothing”, and the Library opens with that same search and type. The agent gets the address of each result and is forbidden to make up links.
Fixed
  • With an OpenRouter key that has a spending limit, the 402 “can only afford N tokens” error no longer ends the turn: the request is repeated asking for less output and, if even that is not enough, the notice explains where to raise the limit. A model that replies empty is retried once before failing.
  • Sending a voice-dictated message (Gboard) no longer makes the text reappear in the box as if it had not been sent; “Retry” clears the box if it still held that same text. The arrow next to the project name always goes back to the main screen.
  • A tool called without some field (“No value for command”) tells the model which field is missing instead of blowing up the turn, and “Install” for an asset finds the results of any search in the turn, not just the last one. The notification timer no longer resets when the label changes.
New
  • Cloning survives mobile networks: it downloads in chunks and, if the connection drops or you cancel, what was downloaded stays saved and “Resume” (or tapping the repository again) continues from there. Progress shows in a card that covers nothing, in Projects and in the GitHub home, with percentage, megabytes and speed; the GitHub list says which repository is being cloned and which one was left half-way.
  • Agora: on each shelf what is left to install comes first and what is installed last, and the front page and the shelves remember where you were when you come back from a sheet (leaving Agora forgets it). Settings remembers its front page and each area the same way while you are inside.
Fixed
  • An interrupted clone no longer leaves a half-made project in the list claiming “Up to date” and “All saved”: it clones into a separate folder and only appears when done; if an old one is left, Git says so clearly (“Unfinished clone”) and leads to the GitHub home.
  • Git errors while cloning are explained in plain words (“The connection dropped in the middle of the download”) instead of the raw text, and if the network goes silent for three minutes it stops by itself instead of hanging.
  • “Stop” no longer freezes the app for a while: stopping the agent and its processes happens off the screen thread, and a clone can be cancelled from its notification.
  • The agent now knows that the refs/hefesto/turnos references are Hefesto's checkpoints and does not count them as your commits; “No commits yet” is said as such instead of “Up to date”.
New
  • In the cloud: a new screen per project (from «Git and GitHub» and from the Workshop) with what GitHub does away from the phone. GitHub Actions builds: start them, follow them with a notice that says which step they are on and, when they finish, whether they succeeded (with «Install» if they left an APK, downloaded automatically) or at which step they failed and why, in plain words; the failure log with «Errors only» and «Ask the agent to fix it», re-run only what failed or cancel. When you push changes with a workflow in the repository, the build that starts is followed automatically.
  • Pull requests: create one from the branch you are on (title and notes suggested from the commits), see how it is going (checks, review, conflicts) and merge it (regular or squashed into one commit). Releases: «Publish release» creates the tag on GitHub with the APK or the exported game attached, and each published release opens with its files to download or install. Website: if the project has an index.html (root, docs, web, dist or public), «Publish» uploads it to GitHub Pages without touching your working branch and gives you the address.
  • The Android Workshop has the «In the cloud» block: the last thing known from GitHub without network, «Build on GitHub» and «Install» the APK it left. gh errors come explained (workflow without workflow_dispatch, pull request already open, repeated tag, unpushed branch…).
Fixed
  • The «Builds (GitHub Actions)» card in Git, which only opened the browser, is gone: its place is taken by the «In the cloud» row, which summarises the last build and leads to the new screen.
New
  • Real Git and GitHub: each project's “Git and GitHub” page is a flow: status and “Sync” (pull and push in one tap), unsaved changes (tap one to see its differences in colour, long-press to discard) with the commit message already suggested, history with “Undo last commit”, conflicts resolved file by file (“Phone” or “GitHub”) and checkpoints: Hefesto saves how the project was before every agent turn and “Go back” leaves it as it was then. Git errors come explained in plain words with the next step.
  • The GitHub home: your account with avatar, your repositories with a search box (tap one to open it if it is already on the phone, or to clone it), “Clone a repository” with “Latest version only” and branch, and “Push this project”. The GitHub bar in Projects is now a thin row that takes you there. Every project is born with its .gitignore according to what it is (Godot, Android, web, Python) and the Projects cards show their branch.
  • Tapping the project name drops a panel from the top, like the chats one: the project type (tap to change it), “All projects”, the other projects on the phone and your GitHub repositories to clone. The engine chip opens its sheet without the little arrow that promised a menu; the globe in the header only shows for web projects.
  • Library: “Import” instead of “Use”; what is already in the project says “Imported” and offers “Re-import”, “Open in Files” and “Remove from the project” (really deletes the material and its licence). Downloads open like favourites and favourites have their button to stop being one. Coming back from looking at something in the Preview returns to the Library.
  • Projects: each card's measurements (files, size, date) are remembered between sessions and only the projects that changed are measured again; while measuring, a thin progress line under the search box instead of “…”.
  • Continuous dictation with the microphone: it keeps listening until you stop it. Pending attachments have the cross inside their card and removing one also deletes it from the project's attachments folder. The Ko-fi coffee steam rises from the body of the cup.
Fixed
  • Leaving the app and coming back while the game was exporting lost the running command bubble in the chat, and the notification kept saying “Exporting…” hours later with a “Cancel” that did nothing. Now orphan notifications are swept at startup, “Cancel” works even if the app had been closed, secondary notifications expire by themselves if nobody renews them and the Workshop says “was interrupted (Android closed the app)” instead of “Cancelled”.
  • Cancelling an export or a command killed only the parent process: Godot kept running in the background using memory and CPU. Now the whole tree is killed.
  • The hammer in Files opened the “build APK” Workshop (Gradle) in a Godot project because Godot's Android template brings Gradle files; now a Godot project always opens the export Workshop.
  • The chat's “working” card shows the tool and the real progress during long commands; notifications never claim a task is still running when Android closed the app.
  • The terminal could end up with a single row when opened: now it measures its real space and refits when the keyboard or the size changes.
New
  • Settings by areas: a front page with eight cards (Appearance, Accessibility and motion, Notifications and background, Performance, Backups and storage, Connections, Help, About), each with its real state in one line (“Dark · Amber · Spanish”, “Notifications on · 7 channels”), and each card opens its own short page with collapsible blocks. The search jumps straight to the block.
  • Notifications: the page shows Hefesto's channels with how each one ended up in Android (with sound, silent, muted, off) and one tap opens that channel's settings. Performance: your phone on top (cores, memory and the profile that suits it) and the settings explained in plain words. About: Hefesto's art, the version, what's new and the licences in one place.
  • Workshop with Godot: “Last time”, “Tools”, “Game health” and “Log” are collapsible blocks with their summary in the header; only the one that matters opens by default and the export button stays pinned at the bottom. Game health puts red first, then warnings, and what is fine stays folded under “What is fine (n)”; each finding is one line and the detail shows when you tap it.
Fixed
  • Preview: when coming back to the tab after a while, Android had closed the viewer for memory and the red “it closed” notice appeared. Now it reloads by itself, silently; the red notice is kept for a real crash, and if the viewer dies twice in a row with the same model its thumbnail is shown with “Open in the browser”.
  • Notice cards (Preview, Ágora, Library) no longer stretch the colour stripe along the whole height when the text is long.
New
  • Notifications made for Hefesto: every activity has its own channel (agent, Ágora downloads, build and export, Linux environment, read aloud, finished) with the right importance; every running task has its own notice with what it is doing right now (“Reading main.gd”, “Compiling: compileDebugKotlin”, “120 MB / 260 MB”), its progress and its button: “Stop” for the agent, “Cancel” for downloads and builds, always with confirmation.
  • Notices open the right screen: the agent's chat, the Workshop when a build finishes (with “Open” or “Install”) and Ágora after a download. Read aloud has its own notice with Pause and Stop, to keep going with the screen off or from another app.
  • The working agent is visible inside the chat again, as a Hefesto bubble: engine icon and name, what it is doing now, how long it has been going and a single animation. No button: stopping is still the red button of the composer.
  • Library: while a new search arrives, the forge bar and “Searching…” at the top with the previous list dimmed; the results view has its own search button; what is already in the project is marked with a check (“In the project”) and its button becomes “Download again”.
  • A single floating button in the chat, the results and the favourites of the Library: if you scroll up, it goes to the top; if you scroll down, to the end.
Fixed
  • “What's new” on the main screen closed the app (two nested scrolls in the panel).
New
  • Build workshop: the hammer panel, remade as a full-screen sheet to build the APK and to export the game. It shows the last time (what it produced, how big it was and how long it took, with «Install» at hand without rebuilding), the target, the missing tools with their way to the Agora, the game's health, the step the build is on with its stopwatch, the result with its actions and the log with an «Errors only» filter.
  • Viewer at home: everything you tap in the Library is viewed inside the Preview without leaving Hefesto (Android used to close the app when coming back from the browser). Models from Poly Haven, Poly Pizza and Hugging Face are downloaded to a cache and rotated with the built-in 3D viewer; Sketchfab's are shown with their embedded viewer; pages and videos, in the same tab. A header with the source's seal, the licence, «Use» and a menu with reload, open in the browser, copy the link and full screen.
  • Favourites in the Library: the heart on each result keeps it to download later; the front page has a row with what is saved and a view by kind where you can use it, view it or remove it.
Fixed
  • If the web viewer runs out of memory (a WebGL model on a tight phone), Hefesto no longer closes entirely: it warns you and you can reload it or open it in the browser.
  • «Use» on a Poly Haven model downloaded a .blend that Godot cannot open: it now downloads the glTF set (file, binary and textures) to its own folder inside assets/.
  • Preview: the web view is truly destroyed when leaving the tab (it used to stay alive in memory) and accepts the cookies Sketchfab's viewer needs.
New
  • A real terminal: a full terminal (xterm.js, MIT licence) on Hefesto's Linux, with colours, cursor and full-screen programs such as nano or htop; several sessions per project that stay alive when you leave and come back, a row of keys the phone keyboard lacks (Esc, Tab, Ctrl, Alt, arrows, |, ~…), quick commands depending on the project, paste and copy, pinch-to-resize text, and the exit-code chip of each command.
  • The terminal understands what is on screen: tapping a project path opens it in Files, tapping a local address (a dev server) offers the Preview or the browser, and «Send to chat» leaves the selection or the last lines written in the agent's box.
  • A library with a face: a front page with the search box, the eight kinds of material, the sources of each kind with their seal (tap one to see what it offers, whether it needs a key, and search only there), recent searches, «Ask the agent» and what has been downloaded.
  • Library results are laid out according to what they are: a grid of squares for textures, sprites, UI and images; rows with «listen» for audio; big cards for models, animations, systems and video. Filters as chips (kind, source, refine), «Show more» instead of pages, badges for format, animated, pack and licence, and a sheet per result with «Use» and «See on the web».
Fixed
  • If a search finds nothing, the Library says so clearly and offers to search all sources or ask the agent, instead of leaving the list empty.
New
  • Configure agents, redone: the agent in use at the top with its state in colour (green ready, amber something missing), and below an identical card for each agent with its own icon and the same actions always in the same place (Use, Configure, Install).
  • Each agent's sheet with the same order for all: Access → Model → Test → Advanced → Red zone (what deletes, disconnects or uninstalls, in red and with confirmation). «Use in chat» goes at the top, in the header.
  • Hefesto (API): providers as a list, each with its own key saved on the phone and a mark showing which one has it; you switch provider without losing the other keys, and the «Unsaved changes» bar appears only when needed.
  • A real «Test the model»: it sends a minimal question to the chosen model and says how long it took and what it answered; with OpenRouter it also checks the key (free tier or with credit, spending and limit).
  • The Linux environment is installed, inspected and removed from Agora (it is the base of all its tools); only the link stays in Agents. Hefesto local red zone: delete all models at once.
Fixed
  • Own icons for the agents (Hefesto, Hefesto local, Antigravity, OpenCode) in the list, the sheet and the top bar, instead of stock icons; and a second pass of gestures on the buttons of Agents, sheets and Agora.
New
  • Files, tidied up: no «⋮» on every row; a long press opens a small panel right where you pressed (Edit, View, Extract, Select, Move to…, Rename, Duplicate, Share, Info, Delete). Multi-selection has its own bar (Move, Rename, Compress to ZIP, Share, Delete, Select all) and «Move to…» offers the project folder, the parent folder and creating a new one right there.
  • Files open read-only: you can look, search and copy without fear of touching anything; «Edit» enables writing and «Leave without saving?» only appears if the content really changed.
  • Projects, cleaner: the header is Café · Ágora · ⋮ (Settings, Set up agents, Backup, What's new, Report a problem), and each project is managed with a long press (Pin, Rename, Select, Share, Delete), with no loose buttons or version-in-testing badges.
  • Inside the project: Terminal and ⋮ (Git and GitHub, Project type, Info, Export ZIP, Settings, Configure agents, Delete this chat); the chat name ▾ unfolds the history and «New chat» under the header; the GitHub bar collapses with an animation.
  • Stopwatch when building or exporting: «Time: 1 min 23 s» while it runs and «Took 4 min 02 s» when it finishes, next to the result.
  • The Library for OpenCode and external agents: they now really have «buscar_assets» and «instalar_asset» (with permission outside Auto), instead of searching for them all over the system.
Fixed
  • Chat: a single working animation (the strip above the box: Starting OpenCode, Waiting for the model, Reasoning, with elapsed time and a warning if it has spent minutes only running tools); «Stop» left the card (the red button in the box is the only one); the speaker shows it is loading; each edit's diff is compact; approving a plan no longer leaves the mode in Review forever.
  • Command cards: if the command failed (non-zero code, «command not found»), the card turns red with OpenCode too; the Android 12 linker warning no longer dirties the output; asking «can you do X?» is not taken as an order; provider 500/503 errors explain that your key is not to blame.
  • Model picker: hides transcription, voice, image, video and embedding models (which only produced errors) and marks «In use»; the engine sheet says which model is in use.
  • Agora: the card says «Removing…» while uninstalling and, if apk will not let it go because another tool needs it, it says so by name instead of dumping files. The Library search stays alive when switching tabs.
New
  • Talk to Hefesto: the chat microphone dictates your message with the phone's speech recognition (what you say appears in the box and you can fix it before sending), and every agent reply has a speaker that reads it aloud without reading code or symbols. In Settings → Accessibility → Voice you can have it read the final answer of each turn on its own and choose the speed.
  • Buttons with life: icons react when pressed (the broom sweeps, refresh spins, send takes off, the trash shakes, the microphone and the speaker pulse), the buttons of each message appear when you tap it and hide on their own, and Copy confirms with a “Copied”. Everything respects “Reduce motion”.
  • The Library keys (Sketchfab, Poly Pizza, Freesound) live in a collapsible “Library sources” card in Settings and in the “Keys” button of the Library itself; the other sources ask for nothing.
Fixed
  • Plan is truly read-only again: if the model tries to write, delete or run, Hefesto blocks it (“Blocked” card) and, if it insists, ends the turn with a notice instead of changing the project.
  • Library: the downloads list no longer closes the app when a download was recorded twice; the record cleans itself.
  • Chat: the error notice no longer runs off the screen on the phone, Groq models without tools switch to text mode instead of failing, the agent no longer rereads the same file ten times in a row and one-second “Thought…” rows with no content take no space.
  • Crash report: shows the most recent first, copies only those of the installed version and keeps at most six (it used to pile up seventy and show the oldest).
New
  • Pick a model without guessing: the chat picker carries the same labels as the engine page (Free, Paid, No tools, Text mode and context), puts the free ones first, opens with the current model in view, says which engine it belongs to and has “Refresh” to request the list again; lists are saved on the phone and show up instantly when the app is reopened. The chat footer shows the model name, not the provider.
  • When the model is the problem (daily quota exhausted, model removed or rejected), the error offers “Change model” instead of a useless retry. If OpenCode cannot find the model it says so plainly, with the similar ones it suggests, without deleting the conversation and without offering it again in the list.
  • Agora, first batch of new tools: code search (ripgrep, fd, fzf), tmux, GitHub from the terminal (gh), JSON and YAML (jq, yq), image optimisation (pngquant, optipng, jpegoptim), audio with SoX, reading text from images (Tesseract, Spanish and English), Lua and diagrams with Graphviz. Each with its seal, its size and examples of what to ask the agent.
  • The Ko-fi cup now steams for real (three wisps that rise and fade, not sparks) and the panel is a sheet that explains the promise (free, no ads, no accounts), what the coffee goes to, how the payment works and other free ways to support: share Hefesto and follow the project on GitHub.
Fixed
  • Chat: live text is now rendered with formatting and the engine header (the Markdown asterisks used to show); the “Thought for…” title no longer covers the first line of the thought; the bubble's colour stripe no longer peeks out of the corner; the “may take up to 1 min the first time” notice only shows on the first turn; and the permission card grows with the screen and does not break code lines.
  • Lists remember where you were: going from Files to Chat or Library and back, each tab stays at the same spot (also when rotating the screen). Projects are sorted by real activity (the most recently touched file, not the folder date) and the last opened one no longer jumps to the top of the list: it keeps its “Last” badge in place.
  • Library: “car” no longer accepts “cart” or “carpet” (a whole word is worth more than a piece of another), Hugging Face animation clips are saved as .glb instead of .zip and show a figure instead of a broken image, and the floating buttons no longer cover the last card.
  • Agents: in a Game project “platform not specified” is no longer repeated in every message; in Plan mode the agent explores the files before asking; chat titles drop the opening greeting (“Hi, I want a game…” → “I want a game…”); a 400 from the provider leaves a summary of what was sent in the log so it can be diagnosed; OpenRouter's “null” reasoning is no longer shown; and OpenCode's internal “Continue if you have next steps” and its error stacks no longer appear in the chat.
New
  • The chat tells what is going on: every tool is a card with what it did and to which file ("Edited file · scripts/hud.gd", "Command failed", "Change rejected"); the working row says "Waiting for your permission…" or "Reasoning…" when it applies; the model's reasoning is folded under "Thought…" even when it comes mixed into the text; and the scroll-down arrow only shows when you really are up.
  • Models without tools (Gemma, several free OpenRouter ones): Hefesto detects it, remembers it per model and asks them for tools in text, instead of showing "The URL or the model does not exist". The model list marks Free, Paid, No tools, Text mode and each one's context, and the chat picker loads the list by itself.
  • Automatic chat titles: the name comes from the first real request (not from "hello"), improves when that request arrives if you did not rename it by hand, and is never repeated within the same project. Memory across chats: the agent knows the titles and last message of the project's other recent chats.
  • Errors that explain: "timeout" or "Read timed out" now say what happened and what to do; OpenRouter's and Gemini's 402, 404 and 429 tell whether it is balance, a retired model, the per-minute quota or the daily quota of 50 free requests; a persistent 400 cleans the history once and offers to continue in a new chat; and if the app closed mid-turn, the notice says which files were touched and offers "Continue" instead of repeating the request.
Fixed
  • The notes Hefesto adds to the message (how to build, which tools exist) are labelled and separated from the user's text: agents no longer say "you specified…" or "the system asks me…", a greeting is no longer taken as an order to change files, and the "apply the change" reminder only acts in Auto mode; OpenCode also receives the standing rules as its own instructions file.
  • edit_file no longer fails because of a different indentation or Windows line endings, and if the snippet appears several times it says so instead of silently changing the first occurrence.
  • Export the game: the destination chips are really disabled while exporting and the title says "Exporting Web…"; a Godot crash on exit when the game was already exported is noted as a known bug and not as an error; the log no longer fills with blank lines; zero costs are not shown; Hugging Face clips from the Library can be installed; and the Library tab no longer disappears mid-session.
New
  • Agora gets a face: every tool carries its brand seal (the Godot, Blender, Python, Node.js, Git, FFmpeg… logos) on a tile of its colour, in horizontal shelves per block with posters; the showcase at the top says how many are installed, how much they take and how much is free; what is installed goes in an "In your workshop" row; when searching or filtering, everything turns into a grid. Each tool's sheet is like an app page: big seal, status, main action, what it is for with examples of what to ask the agent, and its requirements as linked sheets. Works the same in light and dark.
  • Godot without crashes: the export panel diagnoses by the real exit code (137 = Android killed Godot for lack of memory; 134 or 139 = an internal Godot failure that happens at random, not a lack of memory) and retries once on its own. Godot imports one at a time (lower peak memory on the phone), Hefesto no longer lowers Godot's priority while the app is in front, and a new button clears the import cache if it crashes several times in a row.
  • The game health check warns about deleted resources that a scene, a script or a model still reference by uid (the "Can't find file 'uid://…'" lines in the log), textures over 2048 px and a declared icon that does not exist; when exporting, a default icon is created if it is missing, and new games are born with one.
Fixed
  • Exporting to Android no longer enables PC texture import (it reimported everything twice for nothing); that format is only added when exporting to Linux, Windows or web.
  • The agent no longer says "out of memory" when Godot crashes from an internal failure of its own: it receives the exit code with its real cause.
New
  • Export the game to web, Linux and Windows, besides Android. Web leaves a folder the preview opens right away and a zip to upload to any server; Linux and Windows, a single executable with the game inside. Each target has its template sheet in Agora (20 to 90 MB) and the agent can request them with godot_export_apk.
  • Hefesto signs Godot's APK on its own, inside the app and without starting Java: the exported game installs with one tap even if only Godot is installed. The agent's "firmar" command uses the same signer.
  • Godot's templates are no longer downloaded whole (1.2 GB): only each target's files are pulled from the official package, in chunks and verified, so Godot goes from 1 GB to about 700 MB and an interrupted installation resumes where it left off.
Fixed
  • Agora closed as soon as it opened if any tool was installed: the same sheet appeared under "Installed" and in its block with the same internal key. Now each shelf has its own.
  • Godot's Android export never produced the APK: Godot requires a Java and an Android SDK folder to be configured even if it does not use them, and refused with "configuration errors". Hefesto now prepares them before exporting.
  • Games exported to PC or web came out without compressed textures (the phone only imported them in the mobile format): project.godot now enables both formats and new projects are born with them.
New
  • Agora, Hefesto's tool store, replaces the "Downloads" dialog: full screen, free and in the app's style. A front page with a summary (how many there are, how much they take, how much is left free), search, filters by project kind and each kind's "kit" with a button that downloads what is missing, in order. Every tool has its own sheet: what it is for, what it needs first (and a button to bring it all together), a warning if it does not fit, and the actions Install, Verify, Repair, Remove and Cancel with their log.
  • Free up space, inside Agora: it measures what half-way downloads, package caches and the Gradle cache take, and empties each zone separately without touching projects or tools. When a tool is removed, it tells you how much space was really freed.
Fixed
  • Large downloads (Godot and its templates, Java, SDK, Gradle) are no longer lost when canceled or when the connection drops: what was downloaded is kept and, when you install again, it continues where it left off.
New
  • The game workshop, first delivery: a Godot game has its own hammer in Files, "Export the game". Before calling Godot, Hefesto runs a health check (main scene, camera and light in 3D, autoloads, missing scripts and scenes, mixed indentation, Android preset) and shows it with colors: with anything in red it won't export, and a button hands it to the agent to fix. The export uses the same panel as building (log, Install, Share), the APK comes out signed with the debug key when the Android piece from Downloads is present and, if not, it warns in amber. The agent runs the same check in godot_test and godot_export_apk, and its exports show up in that panel.
Fixed
  • The asset carousel is a moment again, not furniture: if the agent itself installs what it searched for, the carousel does not get in the way; and when the agent finishes talking, the carousel withdraws and what was found waits in the Library for you to choose calmly. It no longer comes back as you walk through the sections.
Fixed
  • The Library searches and downloads from all providers again: each request's headers are now set before connecting, which was what knocked down every search. And tapping a binary file (like an .idsig signature) no longer freezes the app: Hefesto sniffs it inside and warns you it is not editable.
New
  • The Library searches systems in more sources (Godot, Kenney and KayKit), downloads with a browser identity and follows redirects, and Kenney's catalogue is read even if its site changed. The agent caps Godot exports and does not create files if you only asked for a list.
Fixed
  • Files remembers what you left open (tabs, folder and expanded folders) even if you go to Chat or Settings, and the tree starts collapsed; the editor no longer freezes with huge files or goes blind in the app's dark mode; Preview hides in games; the version-in-testing badge reads horizontally; the blue scroll-to-bottom button sits at the edge; and command summaries no longer start with «#».
New
  • The Files tree finally reads as a tree: every level is indented with its guide, the .godot folder and other caches stay out, the file counter lives in the breadcrumb without truncating and the forge hammer only shows when there is something to build. In the Library, an empty filtered search offers to search without restriction, thumbnails show whole and stale notices no longer stick. And the agent: no inventing that you asked for Android, no thinking through the terminal, no repeated searches, no deleting on a change of direction without confirming, and it signs Godot APKs itself.
New
  • Daily-life polish: the asset carousel no longer resurrects when switching tabs (closed means closed); the working card tells which command is running instead of going mute during long builds; the Files tree hides cache folders (.gradle and friends) and the counter no longer truncates; automatic mode acts without ending in shall-I-proceed; with an undefined kind the agent no longer invents the platform; compiling only through the path that reports the result; and approving an asset installs it straight away without another carousel.
New
  • Agents no longer work blind: a per-chat work log (done work is not repeated when history is pruned or the model changes), the project structure in context so the template is not re-listed, notes on stop and on engine change, and an automatic context budget per model. Questions get words, not unsolicited files; internal references are no longer shown as a carousel.
Fixed
  • The settings wheel, chat bubble, folder, shelf and eye were redrawn with silhouettes that read well at small size, and the send button settled without a loose shadow.
New
  • Dialogs and sheets across the app settle into the app's petal; the home icon container tints by project kind (game green, app ember, web blue); forged buttons vibrate with a hammer tap on press (off with light effects); the Library shows ingot skeletons while searching and gets a forged search button; the project header uses own icons and the preview tab is labelled short so it never truncates.
Fixed
  • The illustrated scenes no longer clip into a square: their vector canvas grows from 24 to 64 units, and the empty chat is truly centered.
New
  • Empty states are no longer lone icons: illustrated forge scenes (the anvil with sparks in projects and onboarding, the spark bubble in chat), refined own icons (anvil, hammer, tongs and crucible redrawn) and copy/download progress bars are molten-metal ingots.
New
  • Hefesto now draws its own icons: twelve hand-made vectors (anvil, hammer, ingot, spark, crucible, tongs, shelf, forge eye, terminal, wheel, folder, bubble) on tabs, FAB, send and settings; plus a subtle hammered-metal texture on the main backgrounds and a splash showing the anvil over charcoal at launch.
New
  • Performance gains a light visual effects toggle: it switches off shines, reflections, tinted shadows, gradients and the backdrop halo for low-end phones; the design stays the same but asks less of the GPU.
  • One-line buttons and panels across Settings, Engines, Terminal and GitHub/Git move to the forged language; everything else inherits the theme's colors, petals and fonts.
Fixed
  • Text no longer breaks layouts when scaled up: forged buttons wrap to two lines and grow instead of deforming above 104%; Cinzel titles sit in their own line height (the one-notch drop in Library is gone).
New
  • Files, Library and Preview adopt the forged language: rows and metadata in JetBrains Mono, type and source chips as petal pieces, result cards with a metal hairline and the preview bar as a forged panel.
New
  • The chat gets its own bubbles: agent messages with a hot-metal vein and engine header, yours with petal corners and a hairline; the input bar is a forged piece and the send buttons carry a tinted shadow.
  • The charcoal cools down (less beige, more graphite) and the factory accent moves to ember orange: yellow stays only in details.
Fixed
  • The header title sat one notch low because of Cinzel's line height: it is now optically centered.
New
  • The projects home is restructured: a brand header with the anvil and a Cinzel title, cards with an icon container, monospaced metadata, a molten bar while the agent works and a menu button on every card; corners become an asymmetric petal (the chamfer is gone).
New
  • First wave of the full redesign (0.6.1): own embedded fonts (Cinzel for the brand, Manrope for body text, JetBrains Mono for code), a warm charcoal dark theme and a workshop-paper light theme, chamfered corners and forged buttons, cards, chips and progress bars; onboarding and the tab indicator already speak the new visual language.
  • The factory accent is now forge amber; the 12 accents and the custom color remain available, adapted to the new backgrounds.
New
  • Animations no longer depend on blind searching: Hugging Face now goes to verified packs (the full Mixamo mirror with 2,317 FBX clips) and filters by your Spanish word translated to English; “caminar” or “walk” return real walking clips.
  • Freesound audio can be heard BEFORE downloading: a play button with the streaming preview on the card itself; and the downloaded file no longer ends with a double extension (“car4l.wav.mp3” is now “car4l.mp3”).
  • Poly Pizza also joins 3D Models: with “all sources” Sketchfab no longer rules alone, because every provider takes part and the list mixes what really covers your search.
Fixed
  • The Sprites type stops searching photographs: openverse and wikimedia returned rally photos for “tank sprites”; now it only asks Kenney, which has real game sprites.
  • In animations the purple “does not cover…” sign no longer appears: alternatives show straight away with their thumbnails.
New
  • The Library gets an “Animations” type: it searches animated characters and creatures on Sketchfab (animated filter) and Poly Pizza (optional free key), and loose mocap clips in BVH/FBX from free Hugging Face packs without an account; with category chips (human, facial, first person, animals, weapons), and Godot imports them directly with retargeting.
Fixed
  • Freesound with a key now works: Hefesto sent the OAuth2 header (Bearer) and the API returned 401; it now uses the token one (Authorization: Token), which is the developer key's.
New
  • OpenCode no longer freezes the app: its hot server and the wait for a reply live in the background, so during a long turn commands and edits keep drawing live and the “Hefesto is not responding” notice does not appear.
  • New “Sign APK” button in the build environment: it runs any APK exported by Godot (or unsigned) through the SDK's pure-Java signer and leaves it installable with v1+v2 signature; the agent uses it on its own when it detects an unsigned package.
Fixed
  • The built-in agent's intermediate replies no longer disappear: if it says something and also runs tools, the text stays as a bubble in the chat instead of vanishing and being “replaced” by another.
  • The built-in agent no longer “runs” its own plans as if they were terminal commands (scripts made only of # are rejected with guidance), and it no longer searches the Library on its own: the carousel only appears if you ask.
  • “Use” on a Library result that is a web page no longer ends in “check the connection”: the notice explains it is a page and opens with “View on the web”.
New
  • Files finally lets you import: the cloud button in the top bar opens the system picker and copies whatever you choose —Godot templates, zips, music, models, videos— into the folder you are in; if the name already exists, it is numbered automatically.
  • The attachment cap rises to 10 GB per file in Settings → Performance → Attachments (the maximum was 1 GB): Godot export templates and large packs now fit.
New
  • The chat is remastered: replies arrive letter by letter as the agent writes (OpenCode included), each tool card sits on one line with its duration and a chevron to open the detail, and edits show the file with additions in green and removals in red.
  • You can see how long the agent thought before replying (“Thought for N s”), how long the turn lasted and how long ago it finished (“2m 4s | 5 min ago”); cards of the same file or the same tool are grouped into a single parent card that can be expanded.
  • OpenCode works “hot”: in Auto mode it starts its server once and reuses it between turns, without paying the cold start of every message; after ten minutes unused it shuts down by itself. If the server fails, the turn falls back to the usual mode without you noticing.
  • The compose bar is new: a single rounded box, no buttons that do nothing, and opening a loading chat shows waiting bars instead of an empty screen.
Fixed
  • Re-entering a chat no longer shows duplicate replies or erases the thoughts: each part of the agent is saved with its identity.
New
  • The library no longer forgets: coming back from another tab keeps the search, the results, the page and the scroll position; “Downloaded” folds and shows thumbnails; and there are buttons to jump to top or bottom.
Fixed
  • Tables and numbered lists in the agent's replies are drawn as real tables and lists, not as loose pipes.
  • The agent no longer stacks cards of the same APK: even if it copies and signs it several times, the card appears once.
  • The carousel's “View” button really opens the downloaded file; Kenney thumbnails load in carousel and library.
  • The failed-login notice names the agent that failed, instead of blaming Antigravity.
  • The projects screen shows “Looking at the project…” while it detects the type, instead of taking time in silence.
  • GitHub Copilot CLI is parked until GitHub fixes its musl binary: it does not start in the phone's Linux (measured failure, opened on GitHub). The diagnosis no longer blames Antigravity.
New
  • GitHub Copilot CLI joins the agents: sign in with your GitHub account by code, no terminal; the free plan gives about 50 requests a month and the GitHub token is optional.
Fixed
  • Kimi Code is parked: its free plan does not include the code agent (verified in Moonshot's terms), so it would only work with a membership or a paid key. It stays installed in case you ever add one.
New
  • Kimi Code joins the agents: sign in with your Kimi account by code (no terminal) and it has a free plan; its platform key is optional.
Fixed
  • Gemini CLI is parked in the list: Google withdrew the individual free tier for that client on 18 Jun 2026 and it only answers with an AI Studio key. It stays installed and ready in case it ever returns.
New
  • Gemini's card shows the email of the signed-in account, like Antigravity, and “Sign out” asks before erasing.
Fixed
  • Chat errors are translated: “IneligibleTierError” (Google withdrew the individual free tier for Gemini CLI), daily quota used up or model retired, each with its way out.
  • The library no longer closes when two sources return the same model.
  • OpenCode's catalogue hides models that do not chat (video, images, voice), and Gemini's base list is brought up to date with the models Google accepts today.
Fixed
  • Gemini's login now reports: “checking the code”, “account connected” or “the code was not accepted”, and the panel closes by itself on connecting.
  • Gemini really signs in with the account: the authentication type that left the chat in error 41 is fixed, and “Retry” no longer starts the wrong agent.
  • Gemini's card has “Sign out” to start from scratch.
New
  • A gear in the agents panel: from the chat, each agent has its shortcut to its card to configure it without detours.
  • Gemini gets a model chip in the chat: it changes right there, like the other engines.
Fixed
  • Gemini's sign-in no longer hangs: the Google account is preselected in its settings and the browser opens by itself.
  • Agent processes now carry sacrifice priority: if the phone runs short of memory, the system takes the agent before the app.
New
  • Gemini CLI joins the agents: free with 1000 requests a day using your Google account, and sign-in without a terminal (browser and code inside the app) or with a pasted key.
Fixed
  • OpenCode's connected providers can now be disconnected: type its name and press “Disconnect”; until now they could only be viewed or overwritten.
New
  • The agent can download assets in Plan mode too: it asks permission for each download, and if Sketchfab says no, it tells you the real reason.
  • When extracting a ZIP or RAR you choose the destination: here next to the file, in a folder with its name, or in the project folder you pick.
  • The 3D viewer starts alive and with viewport gestures: one finger orbits with inertia, two fingers pan and pinch, double tap resets, and Front, Side, Top and Iso view buttons.
Fixed
  • If a ZIP cannot be extracted (password or odd variant), it now says so with its reason instead of a dry “can't”.
New
  • Tapping a Sketchfab model opens just the 3D viewer (the model in view and rotatable), not the whole page: it is the embed in a custom tab.
  • If Sketchfab offers a model in several formats (glTF, USDZ), Hefesto asks which you want before downloading, with the size of each.
Fixed
  • A Sketchfab model page opens in a custom tab (the phone's browser inside the app), so its 3D viewer looks the same as in the browser; the internal WebView folded it.
  • When Sketchfab does not let a model be downloaded, the real reason is now given: the model does not allow it via the API, download rate limit, the key failed or the network; no more generic “can't”.
Fixed
  • In Files, long press opens the file menu, where “Extract” lives; “Select” enters multi mode, and each row's three dots are visible again (they were drawn outside the row and the screen clipped them).
  • Sketchfab download with a valid key no longer sabotages itself: the token is sent only to the API, not to the temporary download link, which rejected it.
  • The Sketchfab preview loads the model page like your browser (with reload and exit), instead of the iframe that stayed black.
  • The asset carousel only jumps into the chat when the agent searches; if you search in the Library yourself, the results stay there.
New
  • In Files, ZIP and RAR are extracted with “Extract” in the file menu, without asking the agent.
Fixed
  • If a Sketchfab download fails, it no longer says “check the connection”: it explains that your key is needed and must work, and where to check it.
  • The 3D preview presents itself as mobile Chrome and has a reload button, which is what the WebView usually lacks to bring up the viewer; the open-in-browser button is still there.
  • The Library's explanation shows for only six seconds, and only the first time you open it in each project; the search button always stays.
New
  • When the agent searches for assets, the chat really shows them: a carousel of cards with their thumbnail, “Approve” to download into the project and “View” to open in the phone's viewer if already downloaded.
  • Library cards include “View on the web”, which opens the model's original page in your browser.
Fixed
  • The collapsed search button now shows its spinner while searching, so the fold does not feel like a cut.
  • Sketchfab's 3D preview adds third-party cookies and a button to open it in the browser, in case the phone's WebView cannot bring up its viewer.
New
  • The Library takes up what it should: search is a button that unfolds its panel, type and source are collapsible panels, and on the cards the thumbnail now rules, with an ⓘ button that opens the card with all the text.
Fixed
  • Sketchfab's 3D preview no longer stays on a black screen: the viewer loads with hardware acceleration and its WebChromeClient, which is what its player needs.
  • Searches no longer stop at 8 pages: up to 50 result pages and 10 Sketchfab pages per search.
New
  • Sketchfab models can be previewed in 3D without downloading: tap the thumbnail and their own web viewer loads the model to rotate with your finger, just like on sketchfab.com.
Fixed
  • Sketchfab finally really searches: the app was unintentionally using its API's list endpoint, which ignores what you type and always shows the same models; with the search endpoint real results come out, in Spanish and without a key (the key is only needed to download).
Fixed
  • The Sketchfab key is checked on the spot when saved: the app tells you whether it works and with which account, or if it was no good (usually a truncated copy: the token is 32 characters and the field on their page looks cut off).
Fixed
  • Sketchfab no longer stays silent when it fails: if your key did not work it tells you in a card, and without a key it explains that its search ignores what you type and how to fix it.
  • Sketchfab now browses up to 4 result pages with your key (it only brought 24 before), so pagination has plenty of material.
Fixed
  • The Library no longer comes up empty when searching in Spanish: it now understands synonyms, so “arbol” finds “tree”, “lampara” finds “lamp” and “camara” finds “camera” on Poly Haven, Kenney, KayKit and Sketchfab.
  • When something matches your search, AI models that match nothing are no longer mixed in: you only see what covers the request; and if nothing matches, it is shown as alternatives with a notice, never an empty list.
New
  • The Library now has pages: back and forward with a counter (“Page 1 of 8”), like a web search, to browse more results instead of settling for the first twelve.
  • Source selector in the Library: “All sources”, Sketchfab, Poly Haven, Kenney or KayKit, to decide where to search for each thing.
Fixed
  • Sketchfab no longer sneaks the same AI models into every search: without a key its search ignores what you type, so they are now filtered and only those that really match your search get in.
Fixed
  • Sketchfab and ambientCG thumbnails now show in the Library: the API gave them in a format that was read badly and the placeholder icon always appeared, forcing a download to see what it was.
  • Freesound's “No key? Get one here” link no longer gives “Page not found”: it opens the page where the key is requested.
New
  • The Library now belongs to the Game type: it only appears in game projects (and in “undefined”). In a website or an app it no longer shows, because Files and the agent's chat are there for that, searching assets and showing them to you there.
New
  • The Game type is now active. Creating one spawns a real Godot 4.7 project (project.godot, its main scene and a script), with the compatibility renderer already set: without it Godot started in Vulkan and the game ran at about 5 FPS.
  • The agent has Godot tools: godot_import (reimports resources), godot_test (checks GDScript and scene errors) and godot_export_apk (exports the game to an installable APK).
  • In Settings → Library, Sketchfab and Freesound have a “No key? Get one here” link that opens their page.
Fixed
  • A project with project.godot is recognised as a Game, and building no longer says a Godot project “does not look like an Android app”.
Fixed
  • The Sketchfab and Freesound key is now clear: when saved it shows as active, with buttons to change or remove it, instead of an empty field that looked unset.
  • Searching 3D models no longer returns the same ones every time: Poly Haven ignored what you typed and returned the same fixed catalogue; now it filters by your words.
  • Tap the thumbnail of a Library result and it shows full screen, without having to download it.
Fixed
  • Drag and drop removed from Files: on the phone it was not smooth. To move a file use its menu (the three dots), and long press still selects.
New
  • The editor's colours adapt to the theme. Before they were fixed to the dark theme and in light mode some letters could not be read.
Fixed
  • Opening a file's “Info” or the project summary closed the app.
  • The tree's indent guides were not visible, each file's three-dot menu came out invisible and long press gave no signal.
New
  • Files is now a workbench: the files you open stay in a strip of tabs with their unsaved dot and their cross, you can jump between them without closing anything, the tree has indent guides, there is a status bar at the bottom with line and column, and open files are marked in the list.
  • Gallery view: all the project's images, sprites, 3D models, sounds and videos in a grid with thumbnails, ordered by what matters for the project type.
  • Every file opens in its own viewer: image with zoom, animated sprite sheet (you choose columns, rows and speed and watch the character walk), rotating 3D model, audio with its waveform, the .tscn scene as a node tree, foldable JSON, CSV as a table, Markdown with its preview and fonts written in themselves.
  • A real code editor: line numbers, colours per language, automatic indent, find and replace, undo and redo. And there is no longer a cap that showed a large file as “binary”: it now edits up to 4 MB.
  • Move files and folders, also by dragging with your finger, multi-select with its actions, path breadcrumbs and a project bin with an undo button.
Fixed
  • The APK the agent builds really installs when tapped: before, the chat card had nothing tappable and the button did nothing. Now it installs and can also be shared, and if Android lacks the permission it takes you to enable it.
New
  • New Library tab: the agent searches for and brings free material —3D models, textures, HDRIs, sprites, interfaces, audio and ready-made Godot systems— with its licence recorded in the project.
  • Real internet search: pages, images, audio and videos, with the source, the author and what each result is about.
  • If the search is not exact, it now tells you what is missing instead of passing anything off as what you asked for.
  • «Search again» asks before repeating, and holding it opens a panel to say what you do and do not want (for example: realistic, no pixel art).
  • Every download is recorded in assets/LICENCIAS.json and CREDITOS.md, so you can publish or sell your game without surprises.
New
  • Godot joins Hefesto as an optional download: the agent builds complete games —scenes, code, physics— and exports them as an installable APK.
  • The models and textures coming out of Blender work straight away as game pieces: workshop and studio work together.
  • The glibc compatibility refreshes itself on already-installed environments, so Godot and Antigravity start up better.
New
  • Blender joins Hefesto as an optional download (≈1 GB): the agent gets a real 3D workshop inside the phone.
  • With Blender installed, the agent models and edits meshes by script, applies PBR materials, opens full .blend files and exports them to .glb and other formats.
  • The agent can render images with Cycles —real lighting and transparent background— for icons, screenshots and presentations; on the phone it runs on CPU, so big renders take a while.
  • Send it an image and the agent can turn it into 3D: terrain from heightmaps, lithophanes for the 3D printer and voxel figures from pixel art.
  • To finish them off, the agent downloads free photorealistic textures (CC0) from ambientCG —wood, metal, rock, concrete and thousands more— at no cost and no signup.
  • And it can make short cinematics: it animates objects and cameras that follow the protagonist, lights them with real sun or an HDRI, and assembles the video in batches so the phone can cope.
  • The agent now sees the videos you send: it pulls key frames and looks at them as images.
  • It also listens to attached audio (wav and mp3) when the model allows it; otherwise it tells you plainly.
  • And it looks at its own renders with the new see-image tool: if the handle came out crooked, it fixes it before showing you.
  • Modeling is faster: one environment startup per task, miniature checks, and the pretty render only when you ask for it.
  • The 3D workshop stays hot: Blender keeps running between tasks and each script goes in without reloads; when unused, it falls asleep on its own to save memory.
New
  • You can use the app while the agent works: what you type joins a queue above the input box and sends itself when it finishes; each queued message has its X to remove it.
  • A chip above the input box says what the agent is up to: thinking, running, building or downloading.
  • Downloads no longer block each other: they take turns, queued ones are removed with their X and the running one can be canceled.
  • If the agent finishes while you are on another tab or another app, a notification arrives.
  • The input draft is saved per chat and each project remembers the tab you left it on.
  • The screen stays awake while building; the file editor warns before leaving with unsaved changes.
  • Projects can be duplicated from their menu, and the terminal gets ↑ ↓ arrows, Ctrl-C and Tab.
New
  • You can send the agent images, audio, video, 3D models, ZIP and any other file: they are copied to the project and the agent reads them from there.
  • The images you send show up in the chat and open full screen when you tap them, so you can zoom with your fingers.
  • 3D models can be rotated right in the chat: glTF (.glb and .gltf), Wavefront (.obj), COLLADA (.dae), FBX, STL, PLY and 3DS, with no extra libraries in the app.
  • The only thing that isn't drawn is a .blend, which needs Blender: Hefesto saves it in the project and plainly says so instead of pretending it saw it.
  • Attaching shows a bar with what is being copied to the project, and there is a shortcut for picking audio and video.
  • If the engine you are using can't see images, the chat says so and the agent stops pretending it looked at them.
  • Videos play right in the chat: they start still on their frame with ▶, and pause on their own when scrolled off screen or after 8 minutes.
  • Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ODF, ePub and RTF), PDFs, ZIPs, text files and fonts show a preview of their own content.
  • APKs you send show their name, version and icon without installing them.
  • The 3D viewer understands materials: colors and textures from glTF/GLB, colors from .obj with their .mtl, and diffuse color from FBX.
  • The 3D viewer has four ways to draw the model —Rendered, Solid, Wireframe and Points— plus a button to save the current view as an image and share it.
  • Solid mode is the Blender-style 'white' one: light and volume without textures or colors, to check the shape; Rendered remains the full one.
  • The full-screen image viewer can share the photo or open it with another app.
  • When the viewer can't read a model (Draco-compressed, a .blend…), it offers to convert it to a viewable format with the 3D Converter from Downloads.
  • In Settings → Performance → Attachments you choose the cap per file (25 MB to 1 GB) and how many files per message (8 to 64).
  • Only one model spins at a time in the chat to save battery, and everything starts still until you press ▶; the limit can be raised in Settings → Performance.
Fixed
  • Attached images are saved as they are, without recompressing: sprites and textures reach the project intact.
  • The viewer explains why it can't handle a model —for example, when it exceeds its memory limit— instead of just saying it couldn't be read.
  • When you scroll through the chat, models you already saw are not read from disk again: the viewer remembers the latest meshes.
  • The 3D viewer's 'Save this view' capture now shows the drawn model, not a blank frame like before.
  • Only one source plays at a time: starting a video or audio pauses whatever was playing.
  • Attachments with a preview (video, PDF, ZIP, APK, office documents, text and fonts) now have their remove button before sending.
  • A glTF whose indices cannot be read is no longer drawn deformed: the viewer drops that primitive instead of inventing triangles.
  • glTF models with sparse (patched) vertices now draw whole: before they came out streaky or stretched.
  • In full screen, the name and triangle count get their own row with the buttons below: the text no longer stacks vertically.
  • Models up to 400,000 triangles draw whole; before, anything past 120,000 was cut down to a sample and looked full of holes.
  • A model without its own colors or texture shows as neutral gray like a real part, instead of taking the theme's blue.
New
  • When creating a project, choose Website, App, Game (coming soon) or Undefined; Hefesto saves its type, shows it and lets you change it later.
  • Web projects have Preview and do not get APK build tools or controls; a new website already comes with its home page.
  • The project type guides each agent's examples, prompts and tools, so it works with the platform you chose.
  • Plan is shown as a document with a Goal, Steps, Files and Verification. You can edit it and run it by tapping Proceed.
  • Settings → Performance recommends a setup for your phone, lets you tune Gradle resources and turn off the environment after it sits idle.
  • Appearance offers 12 accent colors, a custom color, an adjustable gradient, pure black for OLED and a configurable interface size.
  • Accessibility adds line and letter spacing controls and an option to follow the text size you chose in Android.
  • Appearance, Accessibility and Performance are organized into collapsible subgroups; agent, Git and Downloads details take up less room.
Fixed
  • Projects, Files, Preview, chat history and Git have more breathing room and larger touch targets; Git lets you expand the list when there are many changes.
  • If an older project already had web files but no selected type, Hefesto recognizes it as a website and adapts Preview and its tools.
  • In Review, terminal commands that may change the project wait for your approval before running.
  • In Auto, explicit requests to create or fix the project are carried out with tools instead of ending as instructions or code in chat.
  • After you cancel a build, AAPT2 stays marked as installed if it is still present; you do not have to reinstall it.
Fixed
  • In Auto mode, OpenCode explicitly uses its build agent instead of inheriting a read-only one.
  • If a clear request to create, modify, or run something ends as text only, Hefesto asks the agent to apply it once more and reports if it still does not use its tools.
  • CLI engines get clearer instructions to work in the project; Plan remains read-only and Review keeps its approval rules.
New
  • Settings keeps its categories, but Appearance, Accessibility and Performance are now split into collapsible subgroups, so you can adjust one part without expanding everything.
  • Agent details, Git sections and Downloads categories open one block at a time; summaries show key status without filling the screen.
Fixed
  • Projects, Files, Preview, chat history and Git lists have more breathing room and easier-to-tap controls.
  • Git shows the first 12 changes and lets you expand the list, so large projects do not push the other controls down.
New
  • When you create a project, Hefesto asks what you are going to build: Website, App, Game (grayed out, "Coming soon") or Undecided. The type is saved with the project and can be changed from its menu.
  • The project type decides the tabs: web projects show Preview; apps do not, because that view does not apply to them.
  • Agents receive the project type chosen in Hefesto, the tools available in that turn and where they are in the interface, so they do not confuse a website with an Android app.
  • The agent only gets the tools for its type: a web project no longer offers it an APK build.
  • In Settings → Performance you can make the environment shut down after a few minutes without building (5, 10 or 30) to save memory and battery; it comes off so the agent responds fast.
  • The project type now shows in the list, in the project header and in its menu; you no longer have to open it to know what it is.
  • The type can also be changed from the project list (press and hold one): older projects show as "Undecided" until you give them one.
  • Changing a project to App or Game closes the Preview if it was open: that view only applies to websites.
  • A web project is born with its page ready: the Preview shows something from the very first second instead of an empty folder.
  • The empty chat suggests examples based on what the project is (a website or an app), and Files tells you what to do in each case.
  • The plan arrives as a document: you read it fully, you can edit it, and it only runs if you hit Proceed. Before, it arrived as a plain message.
  • A web project no longer shows the Build APK button or the "APK only" filter: those belong to app projects.
  • An approved plan runs without being repeated as a chat message, and the button turns to "Approved" while it works.
  • Review mode now asks for permission in the terminal too: a command that changes something is shown before it runs, not just files.
  • In a project with a page and no Android structure, Hefesto now infers it is a web project even if it predates 0.5.3: no Build button and no "APK only".
  • "Copy" in the plan no longer gets cut off on narrow screens.
  • The plan no longer carries a preamble: it starts straight with "Objetivo", and if the agent adds anything before it, the card trims it.
  • In a web or app project, the agent only gets the hints that apply: in a web project it is no longer told about building an APK.
  • The plan only appears when there is a real plan: switching to Plan mode in an existing chat, or after a stopped answer, no longer shows a "Proposed plan" card with any text.
  • The loose "Starting OpenCode…" notes are gone from the chat: the working card already tells you which engine is starting.
  • In "New project", the last option ("Clone from GitHub") is no longer cut off: the list can be scrolled all the way.
  • Inline code in the chat now uses the theme colours: in the light theme it looks like a soft tag, not a black box.
  • The approved plan stays in its place and everything the agent does next appears below it; the working card now also shows the latest action ("Editing js/generador.js…") so you can see it is working.
  • The panel for choosing an agent can no longer take over the screen: it now slides up from the bottom with its own scroll, like the chat history.
  • Settings → Performance looks at your phone (cores and memory) and recommends a profile with one tap. You can change the build threads, the memory left to Gradle, light mode (building without leaving the daemon alive: it frees around 1 GB), reuse what was already built and build without going online. If something squeezes a modest phone, it tells you without blocking anything.
  • Appearance goes from a single accent colour to twelve, with your own colour (hue, saturation and brightness), pure black for OLED screens, the gradient strength and the interface size.
  • Accessibility adds line and letter spacing, and a switch to follow or ignore the font size you chose in Android.
Fixed
  • AAPT2 no longer shows as "not installed" after updating the app: it now stays put like the other tools. Before, a stopped build left it marked as missing and it had to be reinstalled.
  • Gemini CLI, Qwen Code, Codex CLI and GitHub Copilot CLI are postponed and are no longer offered. If an earlier test left one selected, Hefesto switches back to the built-in agent.
  • The accent colour no longer changes with the selected agent: your choice in Appearance is kept.
0.5.2October 4, 2026
New
  • The built-in agent is now called "Hefesto (API)". It is no longer confused with "Hefesto local".
  • When a build finishes, the notice brings an Install button to install the APK without opening the app, and it says how long it took.
  • The model chip opens a panel to change it without leaving the chat: the downloaded models in Hefesto local and, in the other engines, the list with \"Default\" and a shortcut to the engine page.
  • The chat history is a panel that slides up from the bottom (like the “New project” one) and stretches up to enlarge it or down to shrink it: search, chats grouped by date (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Earlier), preview and time on each one, and rename and delete in plain sight.
  • The “+” button no longer creates a chat on every tap: it opens a panel to name the chat and pick the engine, and the chat is created when you confirm.
  • Screens come and go with a short fade and slide, so they do not appear all of a sudden: the animations setting in Settings is in charge.
  • A chat message can be shared with another app -besides being copied- and a file that is already in the project can be attached, without going through the phone or duplicating it.
  • Search inside the project: a text is found in every file (not just by name), with the file and line of each match.
  • In Settings: card search -no more endless scrolling- and a breakdown of the space Hefesto uses (projects, Linux, models and cache) with what is free on the phone.
  • Downloads joins the finish of the rest: same frame, header and groups with their icon. Share any file in the project (a text, an image, a PDF) from its menu.
Fixed
  • Texts that used to show in Spanish with the app in English (engine messages, project deletion warnings and API key hints) now follow the chosen language.
  • In Hefesto local and Hefesto (API) you could not see which model was in use: now all four engines show their model next to the chat's selector.
  • Removing a tool from Downloads no longer stops halfway: what came with it is removed too, the same fallbacks as the installation are retried and, if something is still there, it says what and where it is.
  • Downloading a model no longer stops when you leave the app or turn the screen off: it keeps running in the background, with a progress bar, percentage and a Stop button in the notice.
  • A chat that had been left out of the list (an old index bug) comes back with its conversation, instead of staying lost on disk.
  • The chat history no longer comes up blank: it could say “9” and show no chat. The list is always drawn now and the chats come back, with their conversation.
  • The Files toolbar no longer clips icons on narrow screens: the essentials stay in sight (create, build and search) and the rest goes into “More”.
  • The “Search inside files” panel now closes when you tap “Close” (or tap outside): it used to stay open and you had to leave Files to get it out of the way.
0.5.1October 3, 2026
New
  • Select several projects at once and decide what to do with them: delete, pin or share them.
  • A pinned project is protected: it cannot be deleted until you unpin it.
  • Options menus (more options, attach and working modes) now match the rest of Hefesto.
  • Every window in the app (warnings, confirmations and errors) now matches the rest of Hefesto, with its own icon and the main action clearly in sight.
  • You can stop the agent or cancel the build right from the notification, without opening the app; if you stop it by accident, it asks for confirmation first and you can resume the work with one tap.
  • External engines know they run inside Hefesto: they guide you through its sections instead of sending you to a computer.
  • Notifications for finished tasks take you to the chat where it ended and clear themselves when you open the app; the working one now says what it is doing and for how long.
Fixed
  • Copying a long text (a code block, the output of a command or an error report) no longer closes the app.
  • No more ghost square peeking at the edge of Chat and Files after using the preview.
  • The back button no longer takes you to sections you already left, and leaving a project returns to the list instead of going black.
  • Agent messages are now shown with their formatting: bold, lists and code blocks with their copy button, no asterisks in sight.
  • The project list scrolls smoothly, even with many projects.
  • What's new and the rest of the texts switch language along with the app.
0.5September 30, 2026
New
  • First public version: Hefesto opens to the public. It's an agent that really works on the phone (reading and writing files, running commands, searching and building), with work modes so it warns you before touching anything.
  • Four engines: Hefesto's built-in agent, Antigravity, OpenCode and Hefesto local, a model that runs inside the phone, offline and with no keys.
  • Hefesto local: a catalogue of models to download inside the app (or import the .gguf files you already have), a three-colour notice of what your phone can handle, and settings for memory, context and processor.
  • Building on the phone: its own Linux environment inside the app (Alpine with proot, no root and no computer), APK builds with Gradle and the Android SDK, and a terminal with real commands and the error explained when something fails.
  • GitHub from the phone: connect your account, clone repositories, commit, push and open pull requests without leaving the app.
  • Files and projects: editor, file tree, search, pinned projects and backups (one project, all of them, or just the settings).
  • Language and look: Spanish and English, light and dark themes, and your settings stay saved.
  • It is in testing: when a new version opens, a notice explains what may fail and how to report it. Reporting an issue takes one tap, attaches the phone diagnostics and API keys are struck out automatically before leaving.
